Just a Minute to Catch Up
I wanted to make sure to respond to some of the postings that have been put up in the last week. The support has been overwhelming. Thanks for taking the time to let me know how you feel. Big game this week against the Giants on Sunday night. Hope you'll be watching!

You showed the world "a little bit more" for sure last week. I was at the game and I truly feel that is was the most exhiliarating experience of my 24 years here in this world. I've been to 4 games at the Linc now, and we are luckily 4-0.
Your vision was on-point, your accuracy was perfect, and I know this is just the beginning of an "explosion". (Like my quotables?)
The Giants D is under Steve's control now, but we both know it is weak. Please pick on that rookie they are touting, Aaron Ross. I assume he'll be on Kevin because of his speed. I know you want to get Reggie involved more too. Most of all, I love seeing B-West get his touches. I hope he's able to play without injuring himself further because we all know that January is when we'll need him most, to pound the rock and drain teams.
I am shaking as I write this thinking about Sunday night. Just be you, and I'll see you in Arizona my friend.

I hope Westbrook is able to play and help you out but Buck has shown a little flash out there if he gets the opportunity instead. After Mr. Curtis made his home downfield last week, let's see Reggie B get his work underneath in this one.
Keep at it, Five.

I've been a huge Eagles fan since I was a little kid. Last year I finally got to see the Eagles play for the first time in my life (I'm 33 now) here in Tampa Bay and despite that lucky field goal and the loss I had an awesome time watching you guys come back in the 2nd half vs. the Bucs.
This past Saturday I flew up to Philly to watch you guys play against the Lions on Sunday for my very first home Eagles game. I can't tell you how excited I was to be there and watching you guys execute almost perfectly was amazing. The atmosphere was electrifying, the weather was perfect, the fans were loud, and I really felt I was in heaven LOL. Singing the Eagles fight song over and over again was unforgettable! Thank you for your outstanding effort! I will NEVER forget that game.
Meanwhile, I didn't get the chance to comment on your last blog, but without beating a dead horse, thank you for being who you are. Thank you for being honest and speaking your mind. A lot of us are cowards and don't speak up, but you do when you feel it is appropriate. You are a catalyst for change.
You are a great leader.
Best of luck Sunday night to you and your teammates against the "G-men!" There's lots of Eagles fans down here in Tampa Bay and as usual we'll be cheering you guys on! The fan club down here is known as Tampadelphia, you've probably heard of them. tampadelphia.com

Question: When your having a game like the Detroit game and you make a play, do things like "got him" run through your mind? It looks like you were having a good time!

I attended Syracuse, so I am a big fan of yours and supporter despite you being a Eagle, and me being a Giants fan. Just want to say I never thought highly of your recievers, and it looks like Steve Spagnuola does not think highly of your recievers either. The Giant's were in pressed coverage the entire night, and it looked like he brought the house most of the night. I think it's sad that you cannot get the supporting cast, like Peyton has and Carson Palmer. Also I am shocked that Reid didn't help Winston Justice with Osi, especially since your returning from a knee injury. What lesson was Reid trying to teach Winston from that experience other than he might need to make a career change? Also please show this message to your recievers, maybe they can get some motivation and get seperation since everyone thinks they stink! Its being advertised every time your on TV and they still stink!
Good Luck

I usually never make postings, or make calls in to the stations, or anything like that. But, I'm really impressed with the post game video of Winston Justice on the Eagles website. He accepted full responsibilty, and deflected a question about issues the O-line had. Instead, he said he "felt the other four" played well. It's also good to see defensive players stick up for the "O", and every player questioned (including you 5) accept responsibility. These are the Eagles I remember from 01, 02, and 03 that got to NFC Championships with teamwork, focus, accountability, and a game by game approach. I know the 04 team got to the SB, but that team was different......
Now, you have to remeber what you used to be......hard workers, where backups stepped in when injuries happened and where coaches/veterans did a better job of keeping everyones' focus after tough losses. 1-3 is probably very difficult to overcome, but now is the time to focus on the next game and the next game only.

There was a desperate need for Andy to make an adjustment to help protect you against the penetration on Winston Justice's side, that as far as I can tell was never addressed. I have trouble understanding why Osi Umenyiora couldn't be doubled up against, or at least a Tight End there just to chip him.
And of course, one of the best ways to reduce Quarterback pressure is to run the ball. It was clearly obvious that Correll was having a great deal of success running the ball against the Giants.... averaging 7yds per carry... so why would Andy still tip the scales heavily towards the pass?
If you could share some of your insights on these issues Donovan, it would that be terrific. Because I am totally perplexed...

if d. mcnabb goes on the block i guarantee you that every team in the nfl would be interested.
d.m. is still in the top 5 quarterbacks in the nfl.
think of last year--brett farve--he was retired and the fans were thrilled--now he is mvp
give donovan a break he is our quarterback today and as long as he can play.
