Keep Building Momentum
This week is eerily reminiscent of our first trip to the NFC Championship Game in 2001.. In order to get there then, we had to beat Chicago on the road in very frigid conditions. This time, we had to go to NY and defeat the Giants in very cold weather. Like the last time, this week we will be playing on the road, in a dome, against Kurt Warner and his high-powered offense.
Make no mistake, the Cardinals are a solid football team in all three phases. I know our supporters want to discount their abilities based on the Thanksgiving Day game but they shouldn't -- the Cardinals had to travel here on a short week. I believe we have what it takes to match up with them but we will have to play our best football. If we learned anything from our previous playoff runs it's that we cannot let up and must play at a higher level each and every week.
I hope all Eagles fans help us build our momentum each day so that we all reach a peak on Sunday. I hope a few of you can be there to join us!

I read the comments listen to Yall cry on the radio about #5. He can't do this, he can't do that, can't get past the NFC championship, he choked in the superbowl. McNabb is that franchise Philly wasn't nothing until he was drafted, and y'all had the nerve to boo him. The Eagles probaly would still be playing in the Vet if Reid would have never drafted him. I would trade what y'all had for a team the last 10 years for this **** I have to watch in Detroit anyday. I've been following #5 since he came here and whooped on my wolverines at the Big House. So to all Eagle fan just button them lips sit back and enjoy the ride because it's gonna be wild!

I am your average Eagles fan (I don't live in Philly though), and I hope you're an Eagle until you decide to call it quits. I hope the vocal minority (= the haters) don't represent us (the fans) to you or the rest of the players.

I've been an Eagle faithful since the Buddy Ryan era. I was one of the few that enjoyed watching your draft selection than Ricky Williams...only because a running back can't support a team like a great QB can. I'm thrilled at where we are now, but my major concern is next year. Some say that you and Reid may not come back and that Brian Dawkins might not be back as well. Win or lose, the fans should unite to support OUR team, but please be straight with us. Tell us what you envision for the future. And good luck against the Cards. I have no doubt that the Eagles will pull through and be a class act at the Super Bowl.

Thanks for taking the time to bark (especially since I'm thinking this is a fairly busy week for you and the team). Good luck against the Cards. Stay loose and keep the wild ride going.
BTW - It's fantastic that the defense all of a sudden started playing like a pack of starving wolves. As a fan it's awesome to see this team have so much confidence in all three phases of the game. Feels like a very special team right now.

As a life-long Eagles fan, I want u to know that you have been the best thing to happen to this team. I know there is a lot of controversy swirling around you, Big Red, and some vocal nay sayers. I'm sure u realize that most Eagles fans don't feel that way. The press just jumps on the controversy. No one wants to hear about the good things this cohesive team does, that wouldn't sell copy.(That's wht T.O. gets so much press. Every one wants to hear him whine and complain. It's like a freak show!) No matter what happens this season, respect is given for u guys going to the Meadowlands and earning that win. Awesome! Nevermind what u did to Dallas, fogeddaboudit! (sure did quiet down all the bandwagon Dallas fans in my office)
Do what u do and know that most of us have your back.

Looking ahead to Sunday, I'm glad the Cards played Carolina first to jolt us into knowing that they're not a team that's "just happy to be there" in the playoffs, but one that could kick our asses if we aren't ready. We still may not have the greatest receivers in the league but as a corps it's the best you've had with the Eagles. I hope Avant and Curtis will be healthy for you on Sunday, and you keep finding ways to get Celek the ball. I think you'll get the protection you need and you'll have a great day!

Good luck with Arizona and if all goes well there, I'll see you down in Tampa!

Yes i love the Eagles and i do fear we may lose im not doubting the Eagles Skills but thats how i felt before each playoff game and the eagles have prevailed because they can an they are clicking at the right time....
You know the eagles will give it there all and beat the cardinals cuz what is expecting of them is a bye week before the Big Dance (SB) so resting Westbrook and runyan will be key especially when he will rest even more that whole week after... And know for a Fact that andy reid wont make the mistake of passing will he be tempted yes he will but i expect screen passes because u cant matchup any LB against our RB and we all know arizona dont have LBs like NY and Minn had an westbrook knows he will have more success against Arizona because there defense isnt strong and westbrook is bound to explode you know he is he dont like to be limited and yes we got great special teams..... go eagles i dont want to give a prediction it will be close but i wouldnt be surprised if they dont score( Arizona) more than 16 points in this game... Doubt me all you want yes they have an awesome Offense amazing i give them credit i dont hate arizona just that you know the arizona cardinals wont be using the RBs that much cuz as they seen we stopped the best RBs in the league and Edge(James) is past his prime tough but he dont stand a chance against the eagles Defense because it aint the Panthers or the Falcons As we see weaker teams if arizona had faced our opponents they wouldnt have won.... trust and believe that Advantage Donovan Mcnabb and his Philadelphia Eagles

The reason for that is your FAT OVER WEIGHT A$$ is to busy being an arm chair QB. SO SHUT THE FRIG UP and support you Team and QB, like you should. If it wasn't for the likes of McNabb the Philadelphia Eagles would not of played in todays game. But if you can do better bring your a$$ out to camp this summer. Also if paid attention to the game McNabb did what he could against the Cardinals, unfortunately the defense fell flat on their ass today!!! When they needed to stop the the Cardinals in the 4th quarter they did not.

Please know that there are 10's of thousands of us who love and support you. Its the loud minority of screaming drunks that give us a bad name. You know the ones....They're so drunk they don't even know what down or qaurter it is. Please don't lump us all together and fall into Deion Sanders and Jamie Dukes trap. They have no idea how passionate we are and how the majority love having you as our leader. This media crap is getting out of hand and really taking the fun out of watching football highlights. Next time they try to rope you in to their controversy fed propoganda can you put them in their place for me? At least ackowledge the fact that we all aren't as bad as they say. What they're trying to do to you and us is sickening.
Once again thanks for everything and make sure you come back next year. There's unfinished business and a team and fanbase that needs you to lead us. Have a great off-season with your family and Congrats on the newest additions.

I'm adding this comment after the Eagles' loss in the NFC Championship Game. You're a terrific talent, and a true gentleman, and I'd like to remind you that while shallow brooks are noisy, still waters run deep. Remember that a sports team's fan base is like an iceberg: the upper third represents the loudest minority, those calling for your trade, for Andy Reid's dismissal, and the like.
The lower two-thirds represent US, the loyal fan base who bleed green, who love our Eagles, who think that you're an excellent quarterback and that Andy Reid is one heckuva coach - and who want you two to remain exactly where you are for as long as possible.
Enjoy your offseason, and keep up the great work.
