March Madness

It's that time again March Madness fans, and I can't wait to get started. Every year we witness a bunch of upsets that we just can't figure out how they happened. This year it will be no different. As I look over my brackets I can't help but notice a few favorable matchups for lower seeds in the 5 vs. 12s, 6 vs. 11s and 7 vs. 10s. That's why I start with the 12-seeded Villanova vs. Clemson. Villanova is led by the Scottie Reynolds, who has continued to torch defenders and put his team in great position to win games. The X-factor in this game will be Dante Cunningham who is an excellent defender and rebounder. Pick, Villanova. I also picked a couple of 11 seeds to win (Baylor over Purdue and Kansas State over USC), two 10 seeds (Arizona over West Virginia and Davidson over Gonzaga) and a 9 seed (Texas A&M over BYU).

Dmac if u say it ill take ur word for it u the man but im kind of pissed cause i think that VT should be in if were talkin about talent they should have bet North Carolina and they were definitly better than half the teams in those brackets so i think just like NCAA Football its all a flawed system and well never have a true champ the brackets and ratings system to get them there are just dumb we should have a playoffs in NCAAF and that the Bracitology is garbage but u da man and hey DMAC how happy are u about the sighning of samuel and clemons and how much of an imppact do u think Klecko will have.

ahh donovan, i love you man, but nova isnt goin to the 2nd round this year im sorry, they just fell off after that blow out loss to St Joes...i like Temple to surprise Upset U aka Michigan State (a few years back they were upset so many times during the season and i still picked them over George Mason 1st round, we all know how that ended up) so i may go Temple in that matchup but i wont go temple in the next game i only think they have 2nd round potential..i like the other upsets you have though

I think Cornell got some heavy three's coming too. Yeah they a 14th seed but I think we might have the Upset of the tourney in them over a Cali team. ( Yes i'm reaching deeeper n deeeeper )

How do you like Cuse's chance this year? haha sorry man, had to throw that in there since you didn't show my Panthers any love! I'm feelin Nova too, they played two great games against us this year.

Does anybody sell the McNabb Syracuse bball jersey? I've been looking but haven't found one so if anybody knows of where to find one let me know! That'd be the only Orange thing I'd ever wear.

Bold pick, but man...I can't bring myself to cheer on Villanova, because they knocked Syracuse out of any tournament consideration. Man, I'd expect a 'Cuse grad to know better than to trust a Wildcat in sheep's clothing...

I definitely agree with your 11 seed upsets though. K-State and USC jumped out at me right away. Kansas State finished third in the Big 12! That's not a pushover conference by any stretch of the imagination, and Michael Beasley is amazing.

  They would have been great this year if their starting backcourt didn't go out due to injuries early in the season for the entirety of the season. Devendorf and Rautins on that team...they would have been a top 25 team, in the tournament, and pretty good.
  
  Next year...next year Syracuse has everyone coming back (hopefully Donte Greene stays - I think he should), Mookie Jones coming in (#40 in the Rivals top 150), Kris Joseph (#103), and the depth should be amazing. Give me Devendorf-Flynn/Rautins-Harris-Greene-Onauku/Ongaenet any day. They look deep and talented.

I hate to say this but our philly teams have no shot... Nc will run with this... I like nc,kansas, duke and texas... Texas and duke in the ship... Usc is going to turn heads...

Baylor bit the dust bigtime and Clemson is going to take Villanova. USC/K State is a tough pic. Gotta go with K-State. Beasley is gonna smoke O.J. Mayo.
