Salute to the Troops

I wanted to take the time on Veteran's Day to give my personal salute to the men and women who protect our country. While many people talk about the "battles" that professional athletes face on game day, nothing compares to the actual battles that our veterans and the current troops face in the military. One day to honor them just doesn't seem like enough.

My father served in the Navy so I am aware of what our troops do and what they mean to this country. I will forever be thankful to these men and women.

Keep up the great work and get home safe!

  Agree 100% BIG 5! Everyday people take for granted what these men and women do. I know there are alot of brave soldiers who are also Eagle fans, and i'm sure they as I would love for you to get us that ring! Let's lock it down and finish this season the right way.

  Thanks to the troops and your dad. I agree with awestthebest, what happened on Sunday night?? Donovan your time in Philadelphia is running short, you had enough chances. The team is going for the youth movement. If you continue to throw the ball in the dirt every week, they will probably trade you next season. Then we can all see the Kolb era begin. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

  How refreshing to find an athlete thoughtful and considerate. Mack, I just want you to know that you are an inspiration to others.....I watched Sunday's game, and I must admit it had a very weird tone to it from kickoff to the end of the 4th.   The Kolb era, are you kidding me? Whomever wants to see Kolb over #5 clearly knows nothing about football ! Stay healthy D-Mac and find a way to get the ball to DeSean AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, that little man can run !

  I adore u and I think you are awesome. They NFL broadcasters can place Mannings and Favre on a pedestal week after week even when they dont deserve to be. I want u and Vick to get a championship ring for the team to show the NFL how its suppose to be done. Then see what the media have to say then.
