This Week

Everybody wants to know about the overtime situation. Whatever happened had no bearing on the outcome of the game. That's all that matters. We all know the rules now. There is no need to waste any more time on the subject. If you want some answers, check out my website (www.DonovanMcNabb.com) where my press conference from today is available. What you won't find from that press conference that is supposed to preview the Ravens game this week is anything about this week's game. So I'll share my thoughts here. The Ravens are a good team. Their defense has a number of Pro Bowl players like Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Terrell Suggs and they are playing at a high level again this season. They are tough against the pass and even stronger against the run. John Harbaugh is a great coach and has helped them turn things around and restore their confidence. I remember as a rookie having to run the scout team for special teams. John's practices were always organized and instructive, but they were also fun. I'm not surprised at all that he has the Ravens playing so well.

Don't let it get to you. The haters are there, they've been there since you got here, and if they were to get their wish, and you left town, they'd be crying about us letting you go. There are some Eagles "fans" that you just can't please. Whether you knew the over time rule or not is pretty much a non-point. The game is done, it is what it is, and everyone just needs to move on.
Just keep your head up and know that there are those of us out here who see beyond the crap the media and the haters throw at us.

  I agree this is so rediculous and overblown. Rules change every year. When the hell was the last time they had a tie? Like 4 years ago! It is so obscure, it could have been changed. Players are paid to play and be knowledgable about penalties, and those types of rules, not study obscure stupid arcane rules...That is what the refs are for!

Let's all be grown ups about this and just admit that McNabb sounded like an idiot at the press conference, in fact both press conferences. Anyone making the amount of money he's making, and doesn't know that there are NOT never ending overtime games in the NFL, has their heads lost in their own clouds. He is not, nor has he ever been completely focused on THE EAGLES! He is and always has been focused on the MCNABB CORPORATE MACHINE, and making sure he's the most beloved "Black Quarterback" in history. Sadly, men who came before him, made a whole lot less money, got a lot less recognition and got comparitively NO support in the media, have accomplished much more with much less. I'll start with Doug Williams and leave it for you to ponder the rest of the names. Williams got ONE SHOT to prove he was up to the task of being a CHAMPION. He proved that in the greatest 15 minutes of pressure football ever played by a QB in a Super Bowl. His legacy is secure on that performance alone. What is McNabb's legacy? The "fourth and 26" throw against Green Bay? One throw against terrible coverage does not make a man great. Donovan has had so many more chances to prove his greatness and fallen short each time. The last drive of the Super Bowl was the most embarrassing spectacle ever by an NFL quarterback. His own players said so, though the media once again tried to hide that fact, with the help of his adoptive father, Andy Reid. (How 'bout your own kids big guy? How are they in the support from you department?) McNabb starts most games in a fog, taking entire first halves of games some times to get on track. A shameful legacy for a City's franchise player. To start a game completely unfocused and mentally unprepaired is the biggest slap in the face you can give to your fans and especially your team mates. I have no doubt that the younger players on this team are ready to turn the page on the Reid/McNabb mutual love fest and play some Philadelphia Eagle TEAM BALL. We haven't done that in a number of years. Enough already of protecting this guy. Let the Media continue to do that, as they no doubt will. You fans need to be honest with yourselves and your city and let him know his play and his lack of focus and preparedeness are just not acceptable. This city has invested too much time and money on him to be disrespected like that.
  We'll see if this gets printed, since its the only critical entry i've seen today on this site.

I find it hard to fathom that people obsess so much over such a minor thing as knowing the precise overtime rules. Donovan is the winningest quarterback in Eagles history. He plays his heart out and got us closer to a Super Bowl victory than anybody else ever has. Yes, he had a bad game. But he's still one of the top QB's in the league. We're not gonna improve at QB by getting rid of Donovan. It's sad that in a city where we value honesty and hard work that a man who is actually honest and works hard still takes so much crap. I for one hope Donovan stays around and continues to give us a chance to win every Sunday.

but there has to be a point in time during that overtime where you ask yourself "Why is there a clock when the first team that scores in overtime wins?" So with that being said, there has a to be a reason for the clock. But you're right, it had no effect on the outcome of the game. I think 4 NFC East teams should make the playoffs

Donovan, while I am in disbelief that you were unaware of the overtime rule I still say that is not the reason the Eagles lost the game against the Bengals. The fact is you guys couldn't score more than 13 points in 60 minutes of football. No matter who you play, if you only score 13 you are not putting yourself in a good position to win. Hopefully you guys regroup on offense (the defense was great Sunday) and come out and string together some wins and make a playoff run, starting against the tough Ravens.

Don, it looks bad right now and you know it.. if the season is a failure the front office and Andy will leave the burden on you to save Andy's a$$. I see that Andy has given up on this year completely otherwise he would never have called 56 pass attempts with 15 total rushes in a game. He's leavin you out to dry. YOU need to do this with your team all audibles forget what ANdy says you see something you change it up. maybe just maybe we can have a playoff push

I truly believe that as the words came from his mouth, he wished he could take them back, but it was too late. Kind of like Clinton when he said I smoked pot but did not inhale. If Westbrook dont play this game well than obviously Buckhalter is going to play this game and get good carrys it seems as though the ravens defense ( a very very good defense) is balanced in terms of run defense an pass defense i know like every given sunday we are a pass happy team which i think will hurt the Ravens Secondary since some of there players are hurt an may not play come sunday.... but i think we will pick up the W in this game travel home for a short week play in thanksgiving not sure if west plays on Thanksgiving but if he dont Thats a plus gives hims a little over 2 weeks to rest in time for the giants game i dont care if we win the next to games by a field goal win them to get ready because if this team is now focusing on the battle ahead they need a heavy dose of westbrook in the long haul if they are winning games plus the possibility of Shawn Andrews coming to solidify the Line..... will work wonders yes i know one game at a time but i think the eagles play there best football towards the end of the season an when there backs are against the wall.... Mcnabb played his best this whole Season you guys forget that Mcnabb was 3 QB last week with the Most Yards Passing what was it um 339 passing yards but we dont look at that but the stupidity they know how to redeem themselves... And will do so starting 11-23-08...... Go Eagles

For all those eagles fans who want to crucify Donovan your stupid. Donovan is only as good as the plays that are called. Yea i know he had three pics last week but every great quarterback has had bad games. If your going to blame anyone Blame Andy's playcalling. Did anyone notice wether it was 3 and 1 or 4th and 1 we threw the ball. The only time we converted was when reid called a qb sneak up he middle. If Andy called this play a few more times this season we could of beat the bears and redskins as well as the bengals. The main reason why we are loosing is because the eagles are not commited to the run game. No one is going bite on play action when you only run the ball 10-20 plays every game if that. When Mcnabb was hurt back in 06 Morningweig took over the play calling. The reason why we made the playoffs that year was because of our balanced attack. We have a top threee running back on our team who doesnt get anough carries(not screen plays). We need to line up sometimes in packages that consists of westbrook in the slot, Buck back in the backfield and jackson, curtis and basket lined up. Think of the mismatches. We have so much speed but we dont utulize it enough. Its ashame; if Donovan gets booed out of philly this year by the fans. Cause one day we are all going to look back and say he never truly had that number one receiver and thats why he never won the big game. Before Jackson, its was just westbrook Defeneses had to account for. Imagine if we had a Anquan Boldin or someone of that caliber. THink westbrook Boldin, D-Jackson would be great for mcnabb. They cant double team anyone because Westbrook, Jackson and a true number one have to be accounted for all times. I belive in the eagles this year as long as they relize you NEED TO establish the run to win games in this league. HANG IN THERE DONOVAN I BELIEVE YOU GUYS CAN TURN THIS THING AROUND. GO BIRDS

To everyone else, its a team game. #5 is not the blame by himself. I personally blame Reid for his playcalling, but it doen't matter. I nor you (or us) are not on the field playing. As fans, we go down with the team no matter how they are playing, the good times and the bad!
Getting rid of Reid and #5 is not an option. I'm not trying to rebuild, and I not trying to wait on Kolb to get good enough like #5 to get an Super Bowl championship. Fellow Fans: show more support for your team! #5: lets go get it!

I actually took the time to visit your website, just to find more links to sponsors and Donovan listing his actual list of priorities. Bussiness man as #1, and Athlete as #3. There is also a convenient option to visit the websites of Donovan's business partners and sponsors, great! Now after watching our QB choke for 10 years we can prepare ourselves to watch him on Good Morning Philadelphia, Pre- Game Fox Shows, NFL Network, etc after he retires. Nobody cares about your business career or whatever else you do with your time. We the fans pay higher and higher ticket prices every year to watch you come up short every time, while you present yourself as the best thing that ever happened to Our City. "Donovan The Bussiness Man" pleeeeaaase, complete a game winning drive and win a meaningful game first before setting yourself up for retirement.

I am begging everyone to stop talking about this. Why do I always feel it is about us when something bad happens. We are NOT happy at the condition of the season. We all as Eagle fans thought we would make a run this year. The only run we are going to make, it appears is to two first round draft picks. The problem is he's got a bright future because of all the money he's made playing preffesional football, and he's just not that great. Compare his numbers to some AVERAGE quarterbacks. Granted he had a horrible game and he heard it. He knew he was going to hear it especially after that comment about overtime. What is it to you anyways what we say about him. When they win and they will win, people will praise him and say he lead them to victory, but suddenly when they start losing, like all the band wagon jumpers, people get off on them. Come on, are you serious, Where's the loyalty and the faith. Take the cowboys for instance, on paper they have one of the best teams if not the best and yet after years of rebuilding their team to become the yankees of football, they still haven't won a playoff game yet. But people still give "em all the credit. At least the eagles are true to their form, people expect them to fail and maybe that's just the motivation they need. Not knowing the rules is completely irrelevant, it was a mistake to say that in this city because you know all of us fans will get all over you. All Donnie had to say was some typical response any player would have saying some cliche' like "we didn't get it done, i missed some passes and i'm getting ready for next week to get the season back on track." and he would have avoided all of this flak. The drama over what he said takes the city off a more prominent problem, our lack of fire on offense due to Reid's abandonement and lack of persistence in the run game. Your telling me that offensive linemen like big John Runyan wouldn't love to move some people around?? You can't pay homage to the run on first down occassionally and expect that to establish a run game..If we would take some of our three and outs with some runs instead of passes it will let our guys in the booth see openings in the defense and exploit them..It also allows the linemen to see what the defense does initially to stop the run and enables them to plan an attack that opens holes and through communication with B WEST they make stuff happen...Donnie can make passes, he has time to pass, we just need balance so defenses aren't sitting back on the pass in the secondary, and d linemen aren't pinning their ears back to get to the QB every play.. Everyone calls for a big back which is not a bad idea, but big or not, if there is a crease BWEST will take it and he has big play ability..Does anyone know how much we work on the run during practice?? I don't and i'm curious because i see no creativity or mis direction unless its some typical reverse that we used with James Thrash..Lets run the ball birds because Donovan has and is a hell of a player and balance will make him better, i'd like to see him throw 17-25 for 220 yards and a TD rather than 30-57 for 300 yds and 3 INTS which is what happens when the offense is predictable and one dimensional..

This one is for Donovan. Philadelphia doesn't deserve you. You constantly get criticized for the way you play, act, what you say, and even the way you smile. You get scrutinized for things the team as a whole struggles with. Everyone puts the blame on you, when you don't deserve it. You are 4th in the league for passing yards, and have been doing a good job this season. The team has struggled at points, and that has to improve, but the fact of the matter is that the Eagles are in the top ten offense and defense, and you are playing at a high level. The team can turn around. Please keep your head on your shoulders and finish of the season on a high note, then get the hell out of this place. You deserve a fan base that wants to have you around, and appreciates how good of a quarterback you are. I'm a diehard Eagles fan and always will be, and as much as it would suck to have anyone but you as the QB while you are still playing, you don't deserve the complete crap thrown at you in Philadelphia.

      So, whats your answer? Just let him play forever? Come on people, even if you love this guy, which I do not, there comes a time when every QB is passed his prime and must be replaced. Joe Montana got replaced even though he won 3 Superbowls! McNabb has NOT earned the right to hang on when he isn't playing well. If he brought us a title, we would be more patient with him, but he hasn't and surely never will at this point. He had his one shot and barfed it all over the field in what should've been the game winning drive of his life; of ALL of our lives. It still bothers me when i think about it, but when I look at McNabb I don't think it bothers him. i'm sure he just laughs it off inside, like he laughs off his bad performances EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY on national TV. I am sooooo tired of watching him giggle when he makes a stupid play. i'll take a guy that has less skill but cares more, any day of the week. Anyone remember Jeff Garcia and how he put the entire team of no-namers on his back and carried them???
      A city like ours needs a guy with a heart like that. Not a pretty boy type with lots of regular season numbers based on lots of 5 yard passes that sometimes turn into 30 yard runs after the catch. This guy isn't fooling anyone any more. What will his legacy be...?

The Eagles need to pull off a hell of win streak in these next 6 games. Dont forget it happened to years ago with Garcia. We beat the Giants, Redskins and Cowboys in the final 4 games that we had. We got them again and it can be done. I believe but you have to believe in yourself too. Hit your recievers, we will hit the opposing fans in their mouth. You do your job and let the fans do theirs. The Ravens have a good defense and well running th ball Sunday is pretty much not going to happen since the Giants just torched them for 200+ yds. Donovan not to get all youth football coach on you but I am going to tell you what I told my boys all season " men we have a challenge this team doesn't care about you nor do they even respect you....well lets go prove them wrong from the first play to all day knock the piss out of them...and most importantly HAVE FUN. ToO many IDioTS on here that its hard to read all this crap. The point here is that had Mcnabb known there would be a tie it would have dont nothing for the game. LET IT GO. Did he throw 3 picks? yes, it wasnt a good game. THat had NOthing to do with not knowing the tie rule. Worst of all is that every week I see a quarterback not know the off sides rule. When the defense jumps off sides the offense in essence has a free play, meaning they can throw an interception and it doesnt count. Which means they can go for the bomb and see what happens. Too many idiot QB's throw it 4 yards deep for a weak gain. That is a bigger problem than not knowing about ties which happen once every 8 years or so. Mcnabb will have bad games like all qb's do. Look at Brees. He is lighting it up and his team has a worse record than ours. Yet people continue to sniff his jock. What morons.

Real football fans don't care about what you said. It's the guys in the media that like to highlight players' mistakes and grab attention for themselves. One positive trend I've noticed from all of this is the general opinion of players that the tie rule is anti-football. Fighting for inches and leaving everything out on the field is contradictory to having a tie. Play to win. I hope the NFL addresses this in the offseason and I have a feeling they will.

There are plenty of people out there that don't know every single potential rule in the company handbook..... think of that rule as being the one of those over looked rules. Like any one that has a real job ,you have your good days where you are on point and bad when you just seem like you can't get anything down.... Sunday was your bad day... Not a big deal to me I'm Die-hard eagles fan.... it happens. I think the only thing that I question is play calling on Reids end. As I watch the game I can already see bad play being called just by your facial expression. I really wish Reid would allow for you to call your own plays in the huddle based on the defenses particular tendency. kindo of like your Mannings, Favres, and Brady's do... There seems to be a control struggle on that end. But at the end of the day your a great quarterback and you would be a great loss if the front office starts thinking ridiculous thoughts.

Donovan is right. Not knowing about OT is not the problem. The problem is that they were not able to beat the Cincinnati Bengals. How can you talk about being able to score against the Ravens when you couldn't against the Bengals? Philly fan or not; this season is over and we should have not been told by the owner,coaches or players that this team had a chance to win a superbowl with the current make up of the team. I think that has added to the frustration.

  Whoa there Modee2, a couple of facts that you may not realize that you already know. We played how many horrible teams this year and couldnt score (Horrible being the key word)? I think the answer is 1 and that is the Bengals. We couldnt score why? Let's see 4 turnovers. We scored 50+ pts against the Rams (horrible), We struggled against a good Redskins team and Mediocre Bears team and still managed 20+ pts. We put up 30+ pts against the Boys, the Giants. We can score against good teams when we dont have turnovers.

Is that really what you believe, Donovan? If this is the case, that delay of game penalty and lack of urgency at the end of the overtime had NO EFFECT on the game? I find that very hard to believe. Look Don, I know the chances of you reading this are slim and none but I still believe you are a good quarterback... But one person is not enough to win in this league. If Andy and the FO can't make the cahnges that are necassary to win in this evolving league then they are the ones who need to be held responsible and replaced if needbe. I can understand you had a bad game last week and alot of the pressure of succeeding this season has been put on your shoulders and it is not fair at all... All in all I want to see you in green next year and hopefully till you retire but you and Andy need to accept that you and Westbrook cannot do it alone. Hey Big Red,
Can the Eagles try and run the ball this week more than 18 times so the quarterback isn't forced to throw the ball 58 times? And could you focus on calling less predictable plays so our offense has a chance to score on a good defense? Oh, and can you possibly call some plays that will allow for a sustained drive, which will give the Eagles defense rest? Also, can the Eagles start passing more down field in an effort to spread out the defense so they can't just sit near the line of scrimmage and clog passing lanes?
One last thing: Can Donovan maybe have a chance to pass more to Brent Celek and less to LJ "Stone-Hands" Smith?

I have even taken you to task for a few things you have said, but that's cool, sometimes I do agree with what you say, like now. She is obviously a very frustrated individual since she writes freakin' books when just a a small paragraph is all you need to make a point. Quite frankly, I think it is her that has multiple ID's, since she is always bringing it up, she's got some kind of hangup about it. Like when her zipper gets hung up because she is too fat to close it all the way.

Forget the not knowing the rules which seemed to be a cheap shot aimed ad Andy as if it was his fault not explaining the rule to you. The attention should have been on the lousy game you played, can't you occasionaly hit a receiver in stride or on the numbers. I don't think I've seen a game with so many uncatchable balls. That has nothing to do with the rules and is 100% on you Donavan.Hey,after being in the league for 10 years, and the starting quaterback, you should have known the rules, but your poor play was the real reason we lost. Even Kolb when questioned knew the rule and he's the understudy.

Keep Going #5!!! I want to be positive and think that disaster was avoided last Sunday. Listening to everyone talk, it almost sounds like a tie is even worse than a loss!!! Yes things could've been better, but it's not the worst case scenario either! So keep your head up and lead the Eagles over those other birds this weekend!

Don, you've been great and I've always defended you but your play lately---leaves a lot to be desired. Let's get beyond the nonsense on the OT rule. More to the point--can you lift your level of play in this system? It may well be you aren't getting much help, but some of your throws have been so far off so often it isn't just the system.

  Perhaps you haven't been watching. Philly knows what winners are, and the current Eagles are NOT! Some of their best players are going through the motions on Sunday, collecting that big check and planning their retirement, instead of preparing for the game. Reid is part of that as well. What do we have, like 7 total plays we run all game long? Throw it 7 yards and hope somebody breaks it big eventually. Wow, very imaginative Andy. You're a genius all right.

  How quickly you all forget that he is the only reason this franchise has been in the position to win games over the years. Even with all of the garbage receivers that we have had over the years, he has been one of the best QBs in the league. Even with no establishment of a rushing game, he has been one of the best QBs in the league. But, in this "What have you done for me lately" league, everyone wants to use him as a scapegoat for all of this team's problems. He has been the best QB in Philadelphia history, and it's no coincidence that Andy Reid has won all of those games with #5 at QB.

OK Philly! You wanted Donovan out and look what happened! I'm ticked that you were benched D, but I'm sort of happy that they can't blame you for the 2nd half. I heard your PC and you are ALWAYS positive and supportive of your team and that's why we like you. Know that your TRUE fans are hear for you and we continue to support you. Rest and work hard to prepare for Thursday. It's obvious that you are trying to make things happen on the field, but just make sure that the team is there for you to make the plays come to fruition. Now its understandable to an outsider how Reid's kids are the way they are, he's classless. I'm embarrassed as a fan that he didn't have the balls to tell you himself. His playcalling is awful, and really predictable. It must be difficult that every play the other team knows whats coming, play action is a joke anymore. Hey idiots!! Remember Pat Ryan, Mike McMahon etc...You ready for that again? You need to play better, period...But no change to Kolb is needed...

You may not be playing well lately, but I can't believe you were benched when we're only behind 3 points. Again, the headlines will be about something other than the game itself. Well, at least Reid took a little heat off of you by his horrendous 2nd half play calling. Now, you've had a front row seat at what the fans have to see all the time. Now, I'm gonna go puke. Donovan, I hope you get this. What happened today was unjust, unexpected, and completely undeserved. The team had a rough first half but we were in the game, in the playoff hunt, in the season. We were really close to turning it around, to pull you at the start of the second half was the most frustrating mistake I have seen Reid make in the past few weeks. You have been the franchise and face of the Eagles for so long and deserve better. It has been frustrating to see everyone continuously point at you over the past few weeks, when we don't run the ball and even an amateur fan like myself can predict the play calling. I don't know what the rush is to get you out of town, and I think people better be careful what they wish for. Whatever happens, you have been one of the greatest Eagles of all time. If it were up to me I would get rid of Reid and bring in a coach that gives you a chance to actually win without throwing the ball 50-60 times a game. Hopefully you will be the starter Thursday and for the next few years. We need to rebuild some key parts of the team around you, not change to a quarterback who looks more suited to be the kicker on a D III college team.

Screw all the haters in philly and all over. Look at most of the posts on this blog, anyone with half a brain can realize that you have carried this franchise on your back along with Dawkins over the past years. Without you this team would be in the basement with the likes of the Bengals, Browns and Lions. Screw it, if they run you outa philly come to Buffalo, we're just as passionate about our sports but we give credit when credit is due. Look at Jim Kelly, he may not have gotten us a championship but he's a god around here. Keep your head up and don't let the haters bring you down, they wish they had your talent.

  Last week McNabb had a chance to throw Reid under the bus when asked about fans wanting Reid fired and he said those comments bothered him. If McNabb's tongue wasn't attached to Andy Reid's shoes and called louder for more playmakers in the offseason and challenged Reid's playcalling maybe the season would have turned out differently. McNabb is just as much to blame for keeping his mouth shut.

Spotella made a point that maybe McNabb is playing poorly to stick it to Reid. If that is the case, I applaud McNabb for it because McNabb is gone at the end of the year regardless so if he brings Reid down with him than I take every bad thing back I said about McNabb. I just want Reid gone and if McNabb is playing bad to make Reid look bad than we should all applaud McNabb for it. I agree that Reid is the problem, not McNabb and if this is McNabb's master plan to make Reid look like the fool that he is than I have to thank McNabb.

Mr. McNabb, you are the greatest quarterback this organizations has ever had. Don't listen to all these fools on here, they dont know football. If your line could just start blocking like they use to. Westbrook use to put up 100 yrd games like crazy. Since he can't do that, teems are realizing that you guys pass 70% of the time. I say you guys should split the run/pass 50/50. That will confuse teams. Also putting the screen in atleast 5 times a game. Once again your the best QB in the league. I have faith in you and the Eagles. They follow you, your the leader. I believe you guys can win the next five and make the playoffs. Just play smart ball. Good luck!

Donovan if you want to turn this around you got to go back to what made you great. You wouldn't be special if you were just a pocket passer. You can run. You were a dual threat. You could get 100 yds rushing and still throw for 300 yds. You are a superstar in your own right. Quit relying on someone else to step up. You can carry this team like you did before we had Westbrook. Defenses used to be scared to try and sack you. they only hoped to contain you. Defenses used to keep a linebacker to spy on you. Heck at one time you were the running game. You got to go back to what made you great, be the dual threat again. Scramble more keep drives alive. No amount of game planning could stop an impromptu run. You are healthy now, run and slide. You hurt your knee on a fluke play. Let it all out on the field. You once threw for 3 touchdowns on a broken leg. When you see a lane, run for yards. If you want to win and help the team , and get your self respect back. Do it. Do it now! You hamstrung yourself. it's time to do all you can do. Also, you've been staring down receivers that's why so many balls are being picked. You have to look 1st in the opposite direction you want to throw and use pump fakes to move defensive backs. Use all your options and check downs. Spread the ball around. Use the tight end. Quit locking your eyesight on 1 guy. Donovan, I apprecate you. You are the best QB Philly ever had and you are not through yet. No QB can play well without a ground game and throwing too much with no balanced attack. I don't know how much input you have on game plans but we need to run on 3rd and 1. Use Westbrook as a decoy. Use playaction and run off tackle, or outside. Just don't let them call runs up the middle all the time on 3rd and 1. We need a 2 halfback offense. We need to use Westbrook as a receiver. I hope they don't trade you or they will regret it. We don't need to rebuild with Kolb, reload. Go beat Arizona and have a Happy Thanksgiving. God bless you. You are still "The Man." Donovan, I understand that you have and had to buy into andy's program but remember, as the quarterback you have to make plays, whether it be with your feet o your arm. You were at your best when other teams had to put a spy on you because you did both. The O Line cannot run block so you've got to keep the other team on their toes with the threat of taking it down field. I never thought of you as a scrambling QB or a pocket passer, just a play making QB. Please get back to that!
