Thank you Donovan. To tell you the truth, I don't listen to what anyone says anymore. I was infuriated at the Eagles/Steelers game, the opening comments by the announcers......they never mentioned us at all.
You look great! Laughed at the shot of you on Sunday saying hello to the crowd. This Philly in Kansas thanks heaven for my NFL Season Ticket. See you all next time you come to play the Chiefs...or sooner I hope. -

I thought the Eagles had plenty of opportunities to win the game last week, and a couple fluke plays just happened to go the Packers way. Had it been later in the season you guys would have pulled it off. To me it seems like the players are still getting used to one another, and I'm confident that in the next few weeks the offense will improve. -

#5 you are the best hands down! Great to hear that the team tunes out any negativity from ESPN because they flip-flop more than Washington DC.
I've got a question: Does this current WR group make it easier to work through your progressions and spread the ball around? It seems to me that this is the first time you don't have to deal with one guy demanding the ball be thrown their direction, please correct me if I am mistaken. Spreading the ball around is definitely one of your strong points, and something I look forward too week in and week out. And I always do appreciate the #5 to 82 over the middle action. Thanks again for keeping us fans informed out in the YARD! -
Donovan, you are the man. It is so great that you are actually responding to your fans. Many superstar, franchise players like yourself don't make themselves as open and I respect you for that. Just wanted to say thanks for caring about your fans and good luck this season.

Though I admit I am a Patriots fan it is refreshing for me to see star athletes such as yourself take time out of your day to respond to questions from the fans. I admire your work ethic and determination to come back from your injury. If you have the time could you give us fans a walk through of a typical day as a pro football player? I just wanted to say that I couldn't be happier with your performance over the years. You are the most dynamic player in the NFL, and as long as you're on the field, the Eagles always have a shot at the Ring. I hope you stick with the Eagles, and they stick with you. I have no doubt that you will be the one to bring the Super Bowl Banner to Philly. Keep doing what you do. I think this team can be better than 2004. It may just take a little more time to get this thing rolling than we would all like. Shut up your critics this week.

This is really cool that you take the time out of your schedule to interact with your fans. You are a true class act.
I met you last winter and wanted to say something to you, but you seemed to be in a hurry so I didn't bother; I know that in the media, you are always hearing people talking crap about you and I'm sure you don't pay much attention to it but I just hope that you realize that the haters only represent a miniscule percentage of Eagles fans. We are extremely happy that you are our QB and we look forward to many more years with you in midnight green.
P.S. One thing that does bug me though. I work at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as a valet driver and I valeted your car a few times at the ER/Trauma Center and you didn't tip me at all. I realize that just because you have it doesn't mean that you need to blow it, but you could have at least given me a dollar. Tips are how I make my living.

Hey that was awesome. It's really cool that you are doing this. I know you all will do great this year and I doubt Dallas will have the NFC East championship. We will hopefully make it to philly this year again to see you all or when you come to washington. Either one we will be there watching the entire game supporting you all til the end of it. Wow - that was great. I really like that you're taking the time to respond to the comments you're getting and give us some insights into how you and the rest of the team are doing. I don't know where you're finding the time to do this, but I appreciate it. And I know that the rest of your fans do, too.
The GB game was ugly but in a way, it was so bizarre it was comforting. I am sure if the defense continues to hold teams to 3 offensive points, which is what really happened there, we'll be fine.

Absolutely unreal! DM, I'm old school, back in a time when players were blue collar workers in the off season, to help support thier families. They would sit and talk with fans at local bars, resturants etc.. Today, with the money players make, and the way the media has turned sports into a proverbial circus, the athletes really can not do that any more.
Thanks for bringing the athlete back to humanity. Best of luck on the season and no, not from an Eagles fan, just fan of sportsmanship, which yes, does include us fans. Tim -
Great to see you responding to some of the posts! I think video is more effective than print. Your PR people should be doing a better job talking up your blog. There are tens of thousands of Eagles fans that would love to be a part of this if they knew about it. Hope you have an amazing game on Monday night!

McNabbulous is just that, this team is a team of stars not one or two superstars. this is One team and One city and all the fans of this team are behind it! in my mind their is no question this a super bowl caliber team. and i expect as the season finishes up all questions and doubts will be answered!

It is great to see a genuine class act respond to comments from the fan base. Any chance of getting BDawk or Westy on here? That would be nice, but what you're doing here is enough and brings it home to the fans that what happened in Green Bay bothers you even more than us. Hopefully you and the rest of the guys have knocked off most of the rust and we can now go 15-1! That would also be nice, but like you said- one game at a time. Good luck Monday night, here's hoping you and the rest of the O put up 41 points against Washington. I'm a Marine stationed in Redskins country and the fans here need a reminder that they're not headed to the SB just yet.

First off, I want to say that you are an absolute class guy. Off the field or on it, I can't think of many public figures that I admire more. Even if you couldn't throw the ball to save your life, you would be a great man. As a lifelong Eagles fan and a native son of Philadelphia, I've been here with you every step of the way. You've had to endure about as much criticism as anyone in this city, and 99% of it has not been justified. I could go on and on about how great a player and person you are, but the #1 thing I want you to know is that WE ARE BEHIND YOU. The entire city wants nothing more than for you to lead us to a championship and to celebrate with you. Seeing you hoist the Lombardi would forever eclipse Rocky at the top of the Art Museum steps as THE image of this city -- and I know it's going to happen. Keep your head up and your heart strong, keep the faith in God and everything will fall into place. You've got an entire city rooting for you, whether they will admit it or not. You've given us your body and soul, and we want to see your efforts repaid. Here's hoping you're wearing Eagles' green and starting behind center until you're as old as #4, and with few more rings to boot. -

Yeah Donovan, Are you okay? Is the knee messing with you? You were way off in the first half but stepped it up alittle in the second. No we didn't get the touchdown or win the game but you did improve in the second half. Is Dawkins okay? It is only the second game, so I'm not worried yet I know you and the eagles can step it up. You all have to stay focused, keep your heads up. I know the eagles can still do this. I know you all can make things happen. I believe in you.
