Keep Building Momentum
This week is eerily reminiscent of our first trip to the NFC Championship Game in 2001.. In order to get there then, we had to beat Chicago on the road in very frigid conditions. This time, we had to go to NY and defeat the Giants in very cold weather. Like the last time, this week we will be playing on the road, in a dome, against Kurt Warner and his high-powered offense.
Make no mistake, the Cardinals are a solid football team in all three phases. I know our supporters want to discount their abilities based on the Thanksgiving Day game but they shouldn't -- the Cardinals had to travel here on a short week. I believe we have what it takes to match up with them but we will have to play our best football. If we learned anything from our previous playoff runs it's that we cannot let up and must play at a higher level each and every week.
I hope all Eagles fans help us build our momentum each day so that we all reach a peak on Sunday. I hope a few of you can be there to join us!

It's nice to see Donovan having fun playing the game. Whether he's smiling, dancing or catching errant passes on the sideline or answering telephones it's awesome to watch. He just loves playing the game.

I agree. Deion needs to shut it. I find it funny that he is pro-McNabb all of a sudden when last year during NBA All-Star weekend, he was taking pictures with people left and right in the hotel lobby, but wouldn't take pictures with my friends. Did I mention we had on McNabb jerseys? He said, and I quote, "I don't want to" when my friend asked for pictures with him. But he offered to shakes everyone's hand. WTH? Even T.O., believe it or not, was gracious enough to takes pictures with everyone until his bodyguard intervened. ANYWAY...let's crash the Cardinals party and bring home the George Halas trophy!

Just remember out there Donovan that the true fans love what you've brought to this city. We sometimes can be short fused, but there is not a single fan out there that would trade the past 10 years for any other decade in Eagles history. The Cardinals are formidable opponents but they are no match for destiny. Philadelphia doesn't embrace wins without a back story. Remember, "it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain't you! Donovan let's do it for you and all of the vets on the team. You guys have gone through it all now it is time for the icing on the cake and put this team in where it has always belonged in a Championship conversation. One more thing Donovan you and Andy Reid B-dawk etc... are the reason we have had something to look forward to for the last 10 plus years whether good or bad I would not trade you guys as a whole for anything. The Eagles are playing very well on defense, but the past two games were against teams without prolific passing games. It was huge the best receiver in football (Burress) was not playing. Jackson for the Vikings is no McNabb. The Cardinals, on the other hand, have an exceptional combo in Fitzgerald and Warner. You have to put two men on Larry and that opens up their running game. The Cardinals get to play at home too. The Eagles will have to score some points to get back to the Superbowl. I am glad the Eagles are healthy at receiver with Curtis and Jackson. This should be an exciting game.

the giants got to play at home too, and i thought they were the best team in the nfc. The eagles are on a role, but i agree it will be a great game.

I don't know if I would classify Plaxico as the best receiver in football. The Eagles will be going against the best receiver in football on Sunday in Larry Fitzgerald.

I remember last year on YB quite a few Eagle fans were pressing for the FA to make a trade for Fitzgerald! I for one think he is one of the best receiver in the NFL. DMac, don't take no for an answer! Go and win! You have paid youe dues many times over! I believe in green--It's time for 5 and 20 to get their rings!! Just do what you do best and the Eagles will win! I know the press and fans have sometimes been rough on you, but 2 more wins and you will have shut down the negatives for ever. Remember last years NFC championship game vs the Packers? Plaxico dominated the game. I am a Pats fan and his last minute catch killed us in the SB. His combination of size, speed, and athleticism allow him to dominate a game. I agree that Fitzgerald is a great receiver, but lets see if he comes through this weekend and at the SB if they make it.

Donovan, yet again you've made the city proud. Thanks for being you, and giving us your all despite the miserable sports media and the vocal minority of the fan base you have to deal with. Keep on rollin', and keep up the good work against the Cards. The way you guys are playing, in all aspects of the game, is amazing, and hopefully you keep it up this Sunday. Great game on Sunday against the Giants Donovan. You did what everything you had to do on Sunday and got the Eagles to where they are going next. Back to the NFC Championship game. Keep that relaxed mode that you and the team are in and let's get back to big one in February. I'm sure that there will be more than a few Eagles fans out in Arizona this weekend.

IF anybody watched when deion was talking to Mcnabb after the game on nfl network Mcnabb said he loves the Philadelphia Eagles Fans i think he meant it i think some people think an forget that mcnabb is Smart he isnt dumb he knows who deion sanders is i think he has watched the games before when deion sanders played beside being an eagle QB i know Mcnabb hates the cowboys as him probably being a chicago bears fan anyways my point is that deion will always talk crap as him knowing that besides his cowboys getting superbowl this decades cowboys arent better than the Eagles at all in any phase of the game and its hard for him to admit it do u think he would be saying this stuff if Mcnabb was a cowboys QB nope i dont think so it urks deion to know philly is getting the attention that dallas isnt getting especially since dallas hasnt been good since aikman smith sanders irvin an the rest

Now go out, play your game, ignore whatever negative stuff has been said, and just be yourself and you will do fine against the Cards. Good luck and congrats on the new babies. To be completely honest...i don't believe he reads these blogs anymore. I personally don't believe he hears the people that have had his back when he got benched to before that. I don't know if anybody caught the interview with him, dieon sanders, and rich somethin or other but he obviously does not like Philly fans right now. If any single Eagles fan decides to talk shi* on Don you can shut your mouth because you are the reasons why we don't get nice things. This is don's fifth time in an NFC championship and he probably hates being in Philly now...thanks to the pieces of crap that try and call themselves Eagle's fans. Its okay to be upset with your team and criticize members of a team but to try and blame one person for whole seasons. As much as I love Donovon Mcnabb, I truly think that if he left Philly, it would be exactly what we deserve. You know what Donovan, you're a great QB. You didn't let that benching get you down, as a matter of fact it motivated you, you strung the rest of your games into wins and then snuck into the playoffs and are now one game away from the Big Show.
