Ready, Set, Action
I wish I had something positive to share to take your minds off of Sunday night. Like any Eagles fan, I am upset about the outcome of the game.
Earlier this year I asked that we not dwell on a loss after a day or two, and start focusing on the next game. I ask that you do that again. I ask not to absolve us from losing - nothing can change that fact. We met as a team, went over the film and hope to learn from our mistakes.
I have been asked a few times after a loss what happened? what went wrong? I truly wish I could put my finger on it so I can prevent it from happening again.
I hope that others see our situation as I see it - we have enough talent in our locker room to be a winning team. We certainly have our backs against the wall. We have to come out fighting from start to finish. I need to get into a rhythm early and stay in that groove till the final whistle ... we all do.
I don't expect this blog to do anything other than share my thoughts with you. These are just words. I need to put them into action.
