After failing to secure a contract with Columbus after attending training camp with them on a PTO agreement, veteran Victor Rask has found his next team as Fribourg-Gotteron of the Swiss NLA announced that they’ve signed the center to a one-year deal.
Rask will have to look elsewhere for an NHL home this season.
Rask, 29, split the 2021-22 season between the Minnesota Wild and Seattle Kraken, scoring nine goals and 21 points in 47 games.
The Coyotes have signed Alex Chiasson to a PTO, while the Blue Jackets have signed Victor Rask and Ben Harpur to PTOs.
