The Kentucky Wildcats were among the betting favorites to win the 2022 NCAA Tournament, but the 15th-seeded Saint Peter's Peacocks had other plans.
Saint Peter's pulled off an 85-79 overtime upset of the eight-time national champions, completing one of the biggest upsets in NCAA Tournament history.

Kentucky led by six with three minutes left in regulation, but scored just three points in the last four minutes to allow Saint Peter's to claw back. The Wildcats jumped out in front in overtime too with a four-point lead, but again struggled to find offense and scored only three points in the last two minutes.
The Peacocks continued to find their way to the free-throw line and made all eight of their tries in the last two minutes of overtime to secure the win.
Saint Peter's will attempt to continue its Cinderella run on Sunday when it plays the winner of a Thursday night game between seventh-seeded Murray State and 10th-seeded San Francisco.
