Look of the Day for Monday, March 12: It's all upstream for Stony Brook

East Tennessee State hung in there against Samford to cover the 10.5-point spread and cash our second straight Look of the Day. Let's keep the good times rolling with our favorite college basketball pick for Tuesday's conference tournament slate. 

Look of the Day: Stony Brook Seawolves team total under 69.5 (-105 DraftKings)

We're heading to the Colonial Athletic Association championship game for our Look of the Day. Stony Brook made an impressive run to the title game as the No. 7 seed in the conference, but this is where the Cinderella run comes to an end.

The Seawolves are about to play their fourth game over the span of four days, and one of them was a double-overtime war against Drexel in which four starters played at least 38 minutes. This is a thin team that goes only eight players deep, so the starters are going to be gassed by the second half Tuesday night. 

Even if this wasn't a brutal rest spot, Stony Brook isn't a great offensive team to begin with. The Seawolves rank 168th in the country in points per game, 202nd in effective field-goal percentage and 247th in two-point field-goal percentage. 

Charleston isn't known as a strong defensive team, but it's been locking down in the CAA Tournament. The Cougars have held their two opponents to a combined 38.6 percent shooting and 26.3 percent from beyond the arc. Monmouth and Towson both failed to eclipse 60 points against Charleston in the tourney. 

We expect the tired legs to show up for Stony Brook in what should be a rough offensive performance.
