DES MOINES, IOWA - The Texas A&M Aggies are wasting no time making big plays in the NCAA Tournament.

Seventh-seeded A&M is taking on the 10th-seeded Penn State Nittany Lions at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa on Thursday night to cap off the first day of the Round of 64.

And with all eyes on the Aggies in the nightcap, A&M forward Dexter Dennis is making sure he shows out early on.

After Wade Taylor IV fumbled and lost a pass, Dennis sprinted back and skied for an insane "block" in transition that was essentially him snagging the ball out of the air with both hands.

What will go down in the books as a block was just Dennis showing out his impressive athleticism while timing his jump to the rim perfectly.

Dennis, the 2022 AAC Defensive Player of the Year with the Wichita State Shockers, has proven he's elite on that end but even he probably didn't expect this kind of highlight.

The Aggies got a triple from Tyrece Radford on the ensuing possession to take a 7-5 lead. But Penn State got two 3s of its own from Andrew Funk, as A&M led 12-11 at the 11:56 mark.
