The USC basketball team has not been winning a lot of games as of late. Before the Trojans’ game against Oregon State on Saturday, they had lost six games in a row. USC did not have losing streaks like that in mind when they came into this season. This isn’t what anyone was expecting, and with just about a month left in the season, this team is in a lot of trouble. The Trojans are currently in last place in the Pac-12 as they are 9-13 overall and 3-8 in conference play.

USC basketball is not going to make the NCAA Tournament. Coming into the season, the expectations were much higher than making the tournament, but the Trojans aren’t even going to get there. Head coach Andy Enfield recently discussed the losing streak and what his team needs to do.

“I’ve been in this game off and on a long time, and so, I’ve seen five-game losing streaks, I’ve seen five-game winning streaks,” Andy Enfield said, according to an article from Trojan Daily Blog. “And we’ve had a lot of those here. And when things don’t go your way, you got to try to figure it out and keep improving.”

There are just nine games left this season. Even if USC wins out, they would still probably miss the tournament. At this point, the team just wants to show any sign of growth.
