Louisville cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. has declared for the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft and will forego his remaining collegiate eligibility, he announced Friday on social media.

"Card Nation, I would first like to thank God for all of the blessings and opportunities He has given me," Brownlee said in a graphic posted to Instagram. "Without Him, I would not be where I am today. To my family and friends, thank you for supporting me in this journey. Your constant love and encouragement has pushed me every day. Thank you to Florida State University for the opportunities you gave me. I will forever be grateful.

"Thank you to my coaches, especially Coach English and Coach Ellis, for always motivating me to be the best on and off the field. To the academic, medical and support staff thank you for making Louisville feel like home. Thank you for these past two years. Being a part of this team is something I will cherish forever. The friendships I have made in this city are ones that will go with me wherever I go."

Brownlee is the fourth Cardinal to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft, following safety Cam'Ron Kelly, running back Jawhar Jordan and wide receiver Jamari Thrash.

The Cardinals finished their 2023 season with an overall mark of 10-4 (7-1 in ACC) including a berth in the program's first ever ACC Championship Game, but ended year one under head coach Jeff Brohm on a three-game losing streak.
