A Simple Favor was released in 2018, and now, six years later, director Paul Feig returns to the story of Stephanie and Emily for the next chapter

The first film followed Anna Kendrick as single mother and vlogger Stephanie, who befriends Emily, a mysterious woman with a child at the same elementary school as her child.

Kendrick, as Stephanie, goes into investigator mode when Emily goes missing, and a delicious plot full of twists and turns ensues.

Details of A Simple Favor 2 are under wraps for now, but Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively return to reprise their roles, with Paul Feig back in the director's chair.

Feig's previous films have garnered success critically and at the box office. His vast catalog includes Bridesmaids, The Heat, Spy, Ghostbusters (2016) and Last Christmas.
