It was all love on the set of Thor: Love and Thunder.
Chris Hemsworth, who has portrayed Thor since leading the Marvel character's self-titled film in 2011, had nothing but positive things to say about Chris Pratt, who co-starred with him in the forthcoming Thor: Love and Thunder installment.
"The guy is wildly impressive with the spontaneity and the humor and the things he comes up with," Hemsworth told Angelica Xidias for GQ Australia. "It's both funny, inspiring and intimidating."
Hemsworth last appeared on the big screen as the hammer-wielding superhero in 2019's Avengers: Endgame. "There’s that same—if not more—pressure now to do that again," he added. "So there’s a little bit of exciting nervous energy that is motivating all of us to reach a little further and make sure we’re covering all bases and approaching the scene from every angle."
For Love and Thunder, Pratt reprised his role of Peter Quill, known best as Star-Lord, which he has played since 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy.
Love and Thunder is the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and the fourth installment in Thor's series. Just as Ragnarok, this one is directed by Taika Waititi. The 45-year-old New Zealander claimed an Oscar last year for best adapted screenplay (Jojo Rabbit) and added a Grammy for best compilation soundtrack for visual media Sunday.
