Justin Timberlake commemorates 20 years of 'Celebrity': 'What a time to be alive'

It feels like a criminal offense that *NSYNC has not released an album since Celebrity, but that is the sad reality we are forced to live in.

July 18 marked 20 years since Celebrity  arrived, and Justin Timberlake can't believe it either:

The 10-time Grammy winner's post includes a behind-the-scenes video of Timberlake beatboxing and singing "Gone" with bandmates Lance Bass and Joey Fatone.

Bass left a grandpa emoji in the comments section, and Fatone noted, "Yes we old !!"

Tom Brady and Juicy J also commented "Young BOSS" and "Legends" respectively, while John Mayer—in typical John Mayer fashion—shared a more detailed sentiment: "We spun this record incessantly in the van on my first tour. Thanks for the memories."

*NSYNC consisted of Bass, Fatone, Timberlake, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick. The iconic boy band went on an "indefinite hiatus" in 2002, shortly after Celebrity reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (joining No Strings Attached), which was actually a definitely permanent hiatus.

Timberlake began his wildly successful solo career with Justified in November 2002. The 40-year-old has dropped five studio albums overall with his most recent offering, Man of the Woods, coming in February 2018.

If you are an *NSYNC fan suffering from denial and nostalgic, a pink limited edition Celebrity LP is available here to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
