Mila Kunis had to ride the bus to 'That '70s Show' because her parents grounded her

Mila Kunis's parents weren't starstruck by their daughter when she became a household name as Jackie Burkhart on That's '70s Show.

Kunis visited Conan Thursday night (June 17), where Conan O'Brien brought up a story she had shared with him before about that life-changing time: "You would get into fights with your parents, and I remember you once told me, 'Oh yeah, I had a big fight with my parents. They grounded me, so I have to take the bus to the lot to film The '70s Show.'"

The 37-year-old actress confirmed that it happened twice, actually.

"I probably talked back," Kunis said. "I come from a very old-school family, so I was a very good kid, but you just don't talk back. And they took my car keys away. The first time, my parents left me $1.25 where my car keys normally are."

To make this story even more Hollywood, Kunis added that Ashton Kutcher was the one to drive her home.

Excuse me while I swoon.

"We have a couple of those stories, yeah," Kunis continued. "I also hated chemistry. Hated! Very good at physics, calculus, math, loved it. Hated chemistry! And to this day, he likes to tell everyone that he did all my chemistry homework for me."

Kunis and Kutcher met as co-stars on That '70s Show, which ran for eight seasons from 1998 to 2006. In the show, Jackie is Kelso's (Kutcher) girlfriend, but the two A-listers didn't get together in real life until after they'd reconnected at the 69th Golden Globe Awards in January 2012.

The couple married July 4, 2015, and have two children together: a six-year-old daughter named Wyatt and a four-year-old son named Dimitri.
