Pete Davidson pumped to finally move out of his mom's house

Pete Davidson has sunk at least one level on the Mama's Boy scale.

The 27-year-old actor, comedian and king of self-deprecation let it slip that he has moved out of the home he has been sharing with his mother in Staten Island during this TikTok video posted by "ddanidoubledd" (h/t Yahoo). Davidson was asked what advice he would give to anybody suffering through addiction or dealing with mental health, but he said he didn't want to answer such a delicate question while fumbling for his apartment keys. "I just moved out of my mom's house," he said. "Yeah, I'm fully out. I got a pad."

The Saturday Night Live cast member first mentioned he had moved back in with his mom, Amy, at the "Weekend Update" desk in May 2019, around seven months after he and Ariana Grande broke off their whirlwind engagement

The bit surrounding his unusual living situation continued into last summer, when Davidson Zoomed in to Jimmy Kimmel Live  for an interview promoting his June 2020 semi-biopic The King of Staten Island

The film starred Davidson in a leading role as Scott Carlin, while Marisa Tomei played his mother. Directed by Judd Apatow, The King of Staten Island was loosely based on Davidson's "arrested development" in (duh) Staten Island after his father tragically died as one of the responding firefighters to the 9/11 attacks:

Davidson is presumably good to foot the bills at his new place. On top of his continued work at SNL, he has roles in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, due out this August, as well as The Things They Carried
