Report: Jason Momoa 'in final negotiations' to join 'Fast & Furious 10'

Jason Momoa is already Aquaman, but that is apparently not enough.

Reported exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter on Friday (Jan. 28), the 42-year-old actor "is in final negotiations to join Vin Diesel and the cast in what is being called Fast & Furious 10 as a working title. And while plot details are being muffled, the Aquaman actor could be poised to act as one of the film’s villains. Universal had no comment."

Fast & Furious began with The Fast and the Furious in 2001. It was revealed in October 2020 that the enduring Fast film franchise would conclude with two more installments after F9: The Fast Saga, which hit theaters last June—all directed by Justin Lin.

Momoa wrapped filming on Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in December, the highly anticipated sequel to 2018's Aquaman that Momoa has teased as having "a lot more heart" than the original:

Momoa has also been in the news this month for announcing that he and Lisa Bonet "are parting ways in marriage" after roughly 16 years together and four years of marriage. They share daughter Lola, 14, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 13.
