Add Laura Prepon to the list of celebrities who have left Scientology in the past.
"I'm no longer practicing Scientology," the That '70s Show and Orange Is the New Black star told People in an exclusive new interview. "I've always been very open-minded, even since I was a child. I haven't practiced Scientology in close to five years and it's no longer part of my life."
The 41-year-old actress has since begun meditating daily with her husband, Ben Foster, whom she married in June 2018. The couple share four-year-old Ella and a 16-month-old son whose name is not publicly known.
"If motherhood has taught me anything so far, it's that something can work out for a period of time and then you move on and evolve from that," Prepon added. "As a new mom, I was riddled with anxiety that I had never experienced before. We're all evolving. I always see that with my kids."
Prepon joined the Church of Scientology in 1999 and raised eyebrows with revelations she described for Celebrity magazine in July 2015, which IndieWire summed up.
