Cory Matthews from Boy Meets World was the most suburban, sheltered child in the world, and he managed to find himself a best friend that was the polar opposite. So it would not be shocking if he and the self-professed “weirdo” from Riverdale, Jughead Jones, found one another and hit it off.

No shade towards Ethel, but Lucy Ricardo and Gloria Pritchett from Modern Family would be the ideal best friends had they lived in the same era. The hijinks they would’ve gotten into together may have quite possibly outdone the comedy on their respective shows.

Having one coworker that takes their job too seriously is one thing, but imagine having two like that? In a perfect world, Dwight Schute from The Office and Dina Fox from Superstore would’ve combined forces and either be the greatest working pair ever or the best frenemies constantly battling for Employee of the Month.

Two women who know all too well what it’s like to be surrounded by men who, well, can be a lot. Perhaps one day Julia Louis-Dreyfus can make an appearance on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and bridge the gap between two of the best shows about some of the most questionable people.

It’d be such a relief for Stranger Things' Will Byers to spend a day in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, with Adam Goldberg from The Goldbergs, far away from the drama of Hawkins and the Upside Down. They’d just spend the day playing Dungeons and Dragons, where the only thing they’d have to fear is the smothering of Beverly Goldberg.

The shenanigans these two groups of friends would’ve gotten into. It’s a shame Comedy Central never gave them the chance to do a crossover episode.

The Governor was one of the worst villains to ever appear in The Walking Dead, and while the power went to his head, he was doing it all for his daughter. He and Homelander would connect on a parental level, as The Boys’ egotistical, psychopathic superhero also softens up when it comes to his son.

Even on the show Wednesday, the titular character doesn’t lean towards the darker side when it comes to friends, so finding companionship in a bubbly teenage witch like Sabrina Spellman would make sense. Plus, fans would enjoy seeing how well their partners in crime, Thing and Salem, got along.

Barney and his crew on How I Met Your Mother were constantly frequenting MacLaren's for a drink, so it wouldn’t be out of character for Barney to stumble into Cheers if he ever found himself in Boston. Once there, he would’ve chatted up Sam Malone, and the two smooth operators would’ve swapped stories and eventually become close pals.

Dexter Morgan was a serial killer who felt as if he was doing a service to his community, while Joel Hammond from The Santa Clarita Diet had a wife that needed to consume humans to live, which means that Joel may just have been one of the only people Dexter could fully trust with his extracurricular activities and vice versa.

The nerds from That ‘70s Show and The O.C. would’ve paired so well together had they not grown up in different areas of America and decades apart from one another.

The ability to solve life’s mysteries, whether medical or murderous, is a true gift that both House and Charlie Cale from Poker Face could bond over. Plus, they’d be able to call one another out on each other’s BS; true friendship.

Most would say April and Daria would be better friends, but they are too similar. April would need someone like Jane Lane to balance her out.

Dorothy wasn’t always the biggest fan of Betty White’s Rose on The Golden Girls, but there’s a huge chance that she would’ve absolutely loved White’s Elka on Hot in Cleveland.
