Watch: First 'Loki' trailer unites Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson

Marvel Studios and Disney Plus aren't resting on their The Falcon and The Winter Soldier-sized laurels, as Marvel Cinematic Universe series Loki is set to hit the streamer June 11.

And fans can get properly hyped now that the first official trailer dropped Monday morning:

In it, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is taken to to what appears to be the Time Variance Authority headquarters where the "proper flow of time" is protected. Mobius (Owen Wilson), who more or less takes Loki captive to help fix reality's proper flow that was broken when he used the Tesseract.
According to Disney Plus' official description, Loki will pick up where 2019 blockbuster Avengers: Endgame left off. In that movie, Loki stole the Tesseract, also referred to as the Space Stone:

This series will place Hiddleston's Loki as a leading man for the first time, though the Golden Globe winner has portrayed the God of Mischief six times prior: Thor (2011), The Avengers (2012), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Endgame (2019).

There are sky-high hopes for Loki after The Falcon and The Winter Soldier became Disney Plus' all-time most-watched series premiere with its March 19-21 opening weekend—surpassing fellow Marvel creation WandaVision
