College Football Games to Watch, Week 11
USA TODAY Sports

Regular visitors to this site will be at David Booth Memorial Stadium or closely watching the sixteenth ranked Jayhawks (we are using the CFP rankings here) take on Texas Tech at 11AM, but after that, there is a whole slate of college football action to take in. We prioritize your viewing with the best matchups of the weekend with many of our featured games coming after the Jayhawks take on the Red Raiders.

3 Michigan at 10 Penn State, 11:00 AM Fox

While your eyes will be on Lance Leipold’s Jayhawks, I’d be remiss if I didn’t put this massive Big Ten matchup on our games to watch list. The third ranked (#2 in the AP) and 9-0 Wolverines travel to Happy Valley to take on the tenth ranked (#3 in the AP) and 8-1 Nittany Lions in a game that could have major implications on the Big Ten conference and CFB playoff picture. Michigan enters the game as 3.5 point favorites but this is clearly their toughest task of the season to date after having laid the hammer to the weakest teams in their conference so far.

18 Utah at 5 Washington, 2:30 PM Fox

Washington is coming off a thrilling 52-42 win over USC while Utah leveled Arizona State the last time out. Utah will look to slow down Huskies QB Michael Penix Jr. who is averaging 355 yards through the air per game so far this season. Washington starts as nine point favorites on the road, but no matter what, look for points to be scored in this one.

13 Tennessee at 14 Missouri, 2:30 PM CBS

Another mid afternoon game to keep an eye on is Tennessee at Missouri. The Tigers battled valiantly against Georgia last weekend, staying in the game until the Bulldogs pulled away late. Both teams are 7-2 overall and 3-2 in the league so this game will go a long way in determining who will finish second in the SEC East. Tennessee’s only losses this year have come on the road (at Florida and Alabama) and if they want to win they’ll have to overcome a hyped Faurot Field crowd who will be eager for a signature win in the division.

15 Oklahoma State at UCF, 2:30 PM ESPN

The Cowboys have won five in a row, but four of those have been at home. This weekend they travel to UCF to take on the Knights who just secured their first ever Big XII win. OSU quarterback Alan Bowman has looked like a new man since a change in system down in Stillwater but the key to a UCF upset will be stopping Cowboys running back behemoth Ollie Gordon who is averaging a monster seven yards per carry this season. Las Vegas must know something we don’t as the line for this game is only two points in favor of Oklahoma State.

9 Ole Miss at 2 Georgia, 6:00 PM ESPN

The Ole Miss Rebels open as nine point underdogs when they travel to Athens to take on top ranked (AP Poll) Georgia. They need an upset of the heavily favored Bulldogs to stand any chance of catching up to Alabama in the SEC West but perhaps their twelfth ranked offense can take control against Georgia’s sixth ranked defense. It’ll be an interesting battle and definitely the marquee matchup of all the dinner hour games.

USC at 6 Oregon, 9:30 PM, Fox

The Pac-12 after dark game of the week is USC traveling to Eugene to take on the sixth ranked Oregon Ducks. USC quarterback Caleb Williams just wanted to snuggle with his dogs after last weekend’s loss to Washington so I guess we’ll see if Williams had too much or just enough free time this week with his pets and where his mind is when he and the Trojans take on the powerful Ducks. Oregon opened as 15 point favorites as their high powered offense looks for yet another big performance.
