Leading up to the inaugural Kid Rock's Rock N Rodeo event in Arlington, Texas, scheduled for May 17, the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and Kid Rock have announced the impressive lineup of rodeo athletes who will form five of the six competing teams in the groundbreaking $1-million team rodeo.

These drafted athletes represent the best talent in the rodeo world. They have won a combined total of 54 World Championships in both the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) and WPRA (Women's Professional Rodeo Association). They have won 39 aggregate wins and over 400 qualifications to the prestigious National Finals Rodeo (NFR) and have amassed career earnings exceeding $89 million.

Here are the rosters for the competing teams:

Convoy

(Head Coach Cody Ohl and Assistant Coach Saylor Ohl)

Bareback Riding: Kade Sonnier and Tim O'Connell
Barrel Racing: Stevi Hillman and Tessa Arnold
Breakaway Roping: Sarah Angelone and Shelby Boisjoli-Meged
Saddle Bronc Riding: Gus Gaillard and Layton Green
Steer Wrestling: Jesse Brown and JD Struxness
Tie-Down Roping: Riley Webb and Ty Harris
Team Roping: Dustin Egusquiza (Header)/Levi Lord (Heeler) and Clay Smith (Header)/Coleby Payne (Heeler)

After the draft, two teams, Convoy and Sledge Hammers, made the first and only athlete trade for Kid Rock's Rock N Rodeo. Convoy initially selected Shad Mayfield as the third overall selection but later traded him to Sledge Hammers for Riley Webb, the fifteenth overall selection.

Tie-down roper Riley Webb and reigning breakaway roping champion Shelby Boisjoli-Meged are among Convoy's standout talents, with a combined eight world titles. Convoy also boasts 2022 WPRA All-Around Champion Sarah Angelone, selected fourth overall and the only breakaway athlete selected in the first 37 picks.

Jokers

(Head Coach Sid Steiner and Assistant Coach Joe Beaver)

Bareback Riding: Rocker Steiner and Jesse Pope
Barrel Racing: Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi and Steely Steiner
Breakaway Roping: Cheyanne McCartney and Jordi Edens
Saddle Bronc Riding: Brody Cress and Wyatt Casper
Steer Wrestling: Dirk Tavenner and Dakota Eldridge
Tie-Down Roping: Haven Meged and Shane Hanchey
Team Roping: Derrick Begay (Header)/Cory Petska (Heeler) and Erich Rogers (Header)/Paul Eaves (Heeler)

Under the guidance of Head Coach Sid Steiner, the Jokers made quick trades in the draft, securing the No. 1 pick and selecting Sid's son Rocker Steiner, a two-time NFR qualifier. Later in the draft, Sid also picked his daughter, Steely Steiner, making the team a family affair. 

The Jokers also feature three-time World Champion barrel racer Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi and boasts 117 NFR qualifications and 18 aggregate wns.

Low Riders

(Head Coach Trevor Brazile and Assistant Coach Dale Brisby)

Bareback Riding: Leighton Berry and Jacob Lees
Barrel Racing: Sherry Cervi and Amanda Welsh
Breakaway Roping: Martha Angelone and Kelsie Chace Domer
Saddle Bronc Riding: Sage Newman and Kade Bruno
Steer Wrestling: Tyler Pearson and Kyle Irwin
Tie-Down Roping: Tuf Cooper and Cory Solomon
Team Roping: Clint Summers (Header)/Jake Long (Heeler) and Cody Snow (Header)/Hunter Koch (Heeler)

The Low Riders, led by seasoned contenders Sherry Cervi and Tuf Cooper, boast an impressive track record with 94 NFR qualifications and six aggregate wins. Cervi, a four-time World Champion in barrel racing, was a key ninth-overall pick for the team.

Misty Mountain Hop

Bareback Riding: Cole Reiner and Mason Clements
Barrel Racing: Wenda Johnson and LaTricia Duke
Breakaway Roping: Danielle Lowman and Jordan Hollabaugh

Steer Wrestling: Tyler Waguespack and Stetson Jorgensen
Tie-Down Roping: Caleb Smidt and Westyn Hughes
Team Roping: Kaleb Driggers (Header)/Junior Nogueira (Heeler) and Tyler Wade (Header)/Wesley Thorp (Heeler)

Head Coach Charmayne James and Assistant Coach Justin McKee made strategic trades, allowing Misty Mountain Hop to secure a formidable roster early in the draft. With picks like five-time World Champion steer wrestler Tyler Waguespack and four-time NFR qualifier Wenda Johnson, Misty Mountain Hop boasts a roster with 17 World Championships and a staggering 79 NFR qualifications.

Sledge Hammers

(Head Coach Fred Whitfield and Assistant Coach Curtis Pederson)

Bareback Riding: Taylor Broussard and Tanner Aus
Barrel Racing: Stephanie Fryar and Ashley Castleberry
Breakaway Roping: Maddy Deerman and Taylor Munsell

Head Coach Fred Whitfield and Assistant Coach Curtis Pederson assemble the Sledge Hammers, featuring World Champion Shad Mayfield and three-time NFR qualifier John Douch. Like the Jokers, the Sledgehammers also have sibling competitors with Dawson and Logan Hay. With over 50 NFR qualifications among their drafted athletes, the Sledge Hammers present a formidable lineup.

Free Riders

The final team, Free Riders, under the leadership of Head Coach Bobby Mote and Assistant Coach Linsay Rosser-Sumpter, will form following the WCRA's Rodeo Corpus Christi on May 11 in Corpus Christi, Texas. The top two finishers in each discipline at the event will join the Free Riders.
