After nearly a month, Premier Wrestling Federation returns with their live event, It's The Great Powerbomb, Charlie Brown, this afternoon. The card features several popular talents on the independent scene, including Jay Malachi, who will be headed to WWE next year.
Bodyslam.net's Cassidy Haynes reported on October 21 that WWE has offered Malachi a deal, but he will finish up the rest of his independent bookings. After he finishes his commitments, he'll be headed to the WWE Performance Center in January 2024.
The news of Malachi's upcoming opportunity with WWE could put more eyes on his matchup on today's PWF card. He will take on PWF Undisputed Champion Bojack for the title in the main event. The champion has held the title since he defeated Mason Myles at PWF Hot Summer Nights on August 19. Bojack aims to get a statement win over Malachi and finish the year as the PWF Undisputed Champion.
Another match on the card will have PWF Crystal Coast Oceanic Champion and NWA Jr Heavyweight Champion Colby Corino defend his title against CW Anderson. The former ECW talent steps back into the ring to end the reign of Corino and show that he can still perform with over 20 years in the wrestling business.
PWF It's The Great Powerbomb, Charlie Brown will occur at the Carolina Wrestling Academy in Newport, North Carolina. The event will stream live on Independent Wrestling TV. To watch the event, you must pay $10 for the subscription to the service.
