Arizona Diamondbacks claim RHP Collin Snider off waivers
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

On Monday, the Arizona Diamondbacks claimed RHP Collin Snider off waivers from the Kansas City Royals. This brings their 40-man roster to full capacity.

Snider was drafted in the 12th round of the 2017 draft by the Royals. He went on to make his MLB debut on April 9th, 2022, after spending nearly five years down in Triple-A.

As a mid-reliever, Snider posted a 6.55 ERA through 42 appearances, followed by a 4.87 ERA in 2023 through 20 appearances.

Snider concluded last season in the minor leagues. With the Omaha Storm Chasers, he allowed 28 runs throughout 42.2 innings of work.

Last season, the Diamondbacks were 6th in the MLB with 38 wins coming from their relievers. Arizona’s bullpen played a large role in their success down the final stretch of the season, which ultimately carried over to October.

Stay tuned for further updates as the D-backs continue to make moves this offseason.
