Best MLB strikeout bets: 3 strikeout props for Tuesday 6/20

It was a 1-2 start to the week with my strikeout props Monday, so I'm looking to bounce back with a winning day Tuesday. What better way to do that than to fade a three-time Cy Young winner and former MVP? Here are my three favorite strikeout props for Tuesday night's MLB slate.

Aaron Civale over 5.5 Ks (-110 FD)

It's always a good idea to fade the 2023 Oakland Athletics. The A's lead MLB in strikeouts per game over the last week (12.8), and they've recorded the second-most Ks against right-handed pitchers this season (530). Aaron Civale struck out a season-high seven batters in just 3.2 innings in his last start, and this is an ideal matchup to keep that momentum rolling.

Colin Rea under 4.5 Ks (-152 FD)

This number may seem short considering Colin Rea has gone over 4.5 Ks in three of his last four starts, but this is a tough matchup against an Arizona Diamondbacks lineup that's seeing the ball well of late. The D-Backs have the third-fewest Ks per game over the last 15 days, and they struck out just three times against Corbin Burnes in Monday night's 9-1 victory. Arizona should be able to chase Rea early.

Clayton Kershaw under 6.5 Ks (-110 DK)

Clayton Kershaw has been his usual, brilliant self this season with his 8-4 record and 2.95 ERA, but most of his damage has come at Dodger Stadium. The veteran lefty has struck out 11.7 batters per nine innings at home, but that number dips to 7.9 on the road. The Los Angeles Angels have been on fire lately with the third-highest OPS in the league over the past week (.835), and they've struck out just 8.8 times per game over that span. Take the under here.
