Lance Lynn Leaves Team on Bereavement List, Gonzalez Recalled
USA TODAY Sports

The Dodgers announced a pair of roster moves ahead of Saturday's game in San Francisco. Friday night's starting pitcher Lance Lynn was placed on bereavement leave a day after tossing 6 innings and recording the win against the Giants.

In Lynn's place, the team recalled LHP Victor Gonzalez from Triple-A Oklahoma City (as the squad is set to play in the AAA National Championship game against the Norfolk Tides). In 33 games with the MLB Dodgers this season, Gonzalez has a 4.13 ERA.

Barring any injuries, no more roster moves are expected to be made between now and Sunday's finale.

The Dodgers go for win number 100 on the season with Clayton Kershaw on the mound for what could be his final start at Oracle Park in San Francisco.

Our thoughts go out to Lance Lynn and his family.
