MLB best strikeout bets: 3 strikeout props for Sunday 6/25

We brought out the brooms Saturday for another 3-0 mark in strikeout props, bringing our record to 12-5 on the week. Let's close out a profitable week with my three favorite strikeout bets for Sunday's MLB slate.

Seth Lugo under 4.5 Ks (-140 FanDuel)

The Washington Nationals have been a tough team to crack for opposing pitchers of late. Over the last two weeks, the Nats have recorded the fewest strikeouts per game in MLB (6.6). Seth Lugo is averaging just 8.3 strikeouts per nine innings this season, and he hasn't gone beyond the sixth inning in any of his last seven starts. Take the under.

Austin Gomber under 3.5 Ks (-120 DraftKings)

Austin Gomber has been torched for 19 home runs in 15 starts this season, including six in his last three appearances. Now he has to go up against a confident Los Angeles Angels lineup coming off a 25-run performance against the Colorado Rockies Saturday. The Angels also have the second-fewest strikeouts in the league over the past week (30).

Hunter Brown over 5.5 Ks (-108 FD)

Hunter Brown has been impressive all season with a 3.78 ERA and 10.0 strikeouts per nine innings. The right-hander has gone over this number five times in his last seven starts, and the Los Angeles Dodgers have been striking out at a high clip over the last two weeks (9.7 Ks per game). This is a scary one considering how quickly the Dodgers can pounce, but I think Brown gets there.
