Nick Lodolo Suffers Potential Setback After Bullpen Session

Nick Lodolo threw a live bullpen on Thursday afternoon, unfortunately he's still dealing with pain in his left leg.

He'll be re-evaluated and have his leg scanned. Lodolo hasn't pitched in a game in nearly 10 months (May 6, 2023). He missed most of last season with a left tibia injury.

The Reds were optimistic about his chances of being ready for the start of the season, but his status is officially up in the air moving forward.

Reds manager David Bell on Lodolo:

Next-day recovery after throwing "not perfect." "Still feels it."

LHP to be re-evaluated and have leg "re-scanned."

If all OK, still could start season on time. Would need to be in spring game by end of next week for that.
