Watch: Tigers' Jonathan Schoop blasts 442-ft HR over center field shrubs
Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Detroit Tigers second baseman Jonathan Schoop absolutely hammered a changeup from Kansas City Royals pitcher Tyler Zuber Tuesday night. When it was all said and done, Schoop had put the ball over the center-field shrubs at Comerica Park, which isn’t an easy thing to do.

Check out this absolute blast, which went 442 feet to the deepest part of the park and put the Tigers on the board for the first time in the game.

That’s some raw power. Schoop got every bit of that 85 mile-per-hour pitch and sent it to the moon for his first home run of the season.
