If Dillon Danis is to be believed, then he'll be having a meeting with the UFC brass soon.

Following his disqualification loss to Logan Paul in their boxing match in Manchester last month (October 14), Danis has made it clear that he is targeting a UFC run. "El Jefe" has been known to troll online, leaving many skeptical of his desire to throw down inside the Octagon.

Danis has insisted that he's serious about returning to pro MMA competition after being granted his Bellator release.

During an appearance on "One Night with Steiny," Dillon Danis claimed that he has a meeting set up with the UFC's movers and shakers to discuss business.

"We're supposed to have a meeting this week," Danis said. "We haven't talked exactly, but he's [UFC CEO Dana White] gonna be back in Vegas I think this week, but he's in Dubai right now. So, we're just gonna work on that."

Many are taking the, "I'll believe when I see it" approach when it comes to Danis' latest claim. With that said, perhaps the UFC's top star Conor McGregor has enough pull to put in a good word for his training partner.

Business is business, after all, and Danis drew a ton of eyeballs for his boxing match against Logan Paul with the personal pre-fight drama. Danis has not had a pro MMA fight since 2019. "El Jefe" dealt with a knee injury that kept him out of action.
