50 Cent inspires Sacramento Kings to victory

The Kings blew out the Pacers Wednesday night in Sacramento. 50 Cent called it.

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, a rapper, actor, and best-selling author, visited the Kings at practice before Wednesday night's game. He joked around with the team and gave a speech, presumably encouraging the Kings to get buckets or die trying.

Jackson's company, Sire Spirits, became the official champagne partner of the Kings this summer. Sacramento joins the Pacers and Rockets as NBA teams with partnerships with 50 Cent, which include deals with his G-Unity Foundation, an organization that provides programs and scholarships for young people.

The Kings don't have a No. 50 on the roster, but No. 5 De'Aaron Fox and No. 0 Malik Monk combined for 39 points on 13-20 shooting, addint 12 assists. It's not Fox's birthday until Dec. 20, but he was certainly partying like it was his birthday, outplaying former teammates Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield.  Meanwhile No. 40 Harrison Barnes was a +30, scoring 22 points on nine shots.

As if it wasn't lit enough in the Golden 1 Center, 50 Cent celebrated the victory with the newest Sacramento tradition: He lit the beam.
