Another Nuggets player dealing with strange injury

Though winners of their last five consecutive games, the Denver Nuggets are still suffering some bizarrely bad luck.

Nuggets guard Reggie Jackson was a sudden inclusion on the team’s injury list released ahead of Thursday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Jackson is now listed as questionable due to … a skin lesion.

No further details were given by the team on the nature of the issue that Jackson is dealing with, but you almost never see a player pop up on the injury report with a skin lesion (which can be anything from a sunburn or acne to a blister or a rash).

This is now the second peculiar injury issue that has popped up for a Nuggets player this week. On Wednesday, the team revealed that forward Aaron Gordon will be out for some time after a serious dog-bite incident.

For his part, Jackson is averaging 12.5 points and 4.4 assists per game this season in a meaningful role off the bench for Denver (with a few fill-in starts mixed in when Jamal Murray was injured).
