Ahead of the Phoenix Suns’ Tuesday night meeting with the Denver Nuggets, head coach Frank Vogel provided a brief injury update on Devin Booker.
Booker, who is currently nursing a right ankle sprain, is expected to be sidelined for anywhere between 5 to 14 days, leaving his return to the court uncertain.
Vogel noted that Booker is unlikely to take part in the upcoming game against the Toronto Raptors, adding, “We’ll see how he is over the weekend and into next week.”

This season, in the absence of Booker, the Suns have posted a 4-7 record. However, their performance dips significantly against stronger opposition; without Booker, they are winless in six attempts against teams boasting a .500 record or better.
This is particularly concerning given the Suns’ forthcoming schedule, which includes challenging matchups against the Nuggets, two encounters with the Celtics, and a game against the Cavaliers.
Stay tuned for further updates.
