Hornets Officially Release Full Training Camp Roster

Charlotte have one remaining full roster spot open, with Frank Ntilikina, Edmond Sumner and Theo Maledon likely battling it out. Two way players Amari Bailey and Leaky Black, along with undrafted rookie Nathan Mensah will likely spend the majority of the season with the Greensboro Swarm. 

RJ Hunter and Sumner are the only unrestricted free agent veteran additions to the Hornets, with Hunter's path to a full roster spot looking unlikely. Sumner last played in the NBA last year with the Nets, after recovering from an Achilles tear playing for the Indiana Pacers where he was a 2nd round draft selection.

Despite Kai Jones being listed in the release, he won't be in attendance for at least the start of training camp as he is spending time away from the team following several peculiar social media posts
