Jazz make Jordan Clarkson available in trade talks
Petre Thomas-USA TODAY Sports

It’s no secret that the Utah Jazz have been exploring ways to improve both the current roster and the future. That’s just the way of head of basketball operations Danny Ainge.

Per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report/TNT, one player being made available is shooting guard Jordan Clarkson. This follows several reports and rumors that Clarkson is among those available, as perhaps are guard Collin Sexton, forward Kelly Olynyk and even forward John Collins, acquired this past offseason.

Clarkson’s philosophy is generally, “Have ball, will shoot,” though that’s why teams view him favorably. He’s a good teammate and simply put, the man can fill it up.

So yes, there’s likely to be plenty of interest between now and the February trade deadline. Who’s most likely to want Clarkson? Why, contenders of course. Clarkson is the ideal sparkplug off the bench and could really help someone in need of some punch in reserve.

As we relayed earlier, the Celtics are a team that is reportedly to looking to “beef up” the bench.
