Joel Embiid’s finger has seen better days than it did on Monday.
The Philadelphia 76ers star suffered a nasty dislocation to the ring finger of his left hand on a block attempt during the first quarter against the Oklahoma City Thunder and had to briefly leave the game. Take a look if you dare, but be warned that it is not a very pretty sight.

Embiid returned to the game after apparently getting the finger popped back into place and wound up missing less than 90 seconds of actual game time.
Basketball is a sport where injuries like this tend to happen. Just a few months ago, we saw another superstar suffer a similarly unpleasant finger dislocation.
