On Thursday evening, the Phoenix Suns are playing the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts.
2014 MVP Kevin Durant is playing in his 1,045th career game, which moves ahead of Elden Campbell and ties Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain for 121st on the all-time regular season games played list.
Following Chamberlain, the next players for Durant to pass will be Leroy Ellis (1,048) and DeAndre Jordan (1,048).

Durant got off to an excellent start to the game and had 15 points, one rebound and one block while shooting 7/10 from the field and 1/1 from the three-point range in 14 minutes of playing time.

The former Texas star is 35 but still remains among the best players in the NBA and is averaging an outstanding 28.5 points, 6.7 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 52.9% from the field and 42.5% from the three-point range in 58 games.

The Suns are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 38-27 record in 65 games.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Cleveland Cavaliers (in Ohio) by a score of 117-111.
Durant was sensational and had 37 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one steal while shooting 14/26 from the field and 5/10 from the three-point range.
Following the Celtics, the Suns will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.
In addition to the Suns, Durant has also spent time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets.
