NBA props for 3/28: Beasley should go over easily

Happy Thursday! This is going to be a great day with the return of March Madness and Opening Day for Major League Baseball (Go Jays!).

Unfortunately, yesterday was not thrilling. I was right on my double-down on the Magic and their top rebounders would pay off, even if Wendell Carter went AWOL after grabbing six boards in the first half. However, we were just 1-3 on the day. Amen Thompson and the Rockets got a great OT win at OKC but it was not because of his sticky fingers and Devin Booker was quiet in another upset with the Suns downing the Nuggets.

Tonight, there are just a couple of NBA games on the docket. Let's see if we can still find some winners, shall we?

NBA Props for Thursday, March 28

Malik Beasley Over 11.5 Points (+100)
Bucks vs. Pelicans, 8 p.m. ET

This is right at average production for Beasley. I am leaning in though because he can be a streaky player and is coming off a good performance - 21 points against the Lakers. His production has also been better on the road than at home this season. At New Orleans, he is not going to garner extra attention and the Pelicans are not an elite defensive team.

Jae Crowder Over 2.5 Rebounds (+105)

You have to take this one with a bit of faith and maybe it would not have made the cut on a busier day in the league. Nevertheless, this is below his average production for the season, you just have to look past the fact that he has only beaten this prop three times in the last 10 games. I think his defensive skills will be in demand for the Bucks against the Pels tonight.

Jonas Valanciunas Over 7.5 Rebounds (+110)

I still don't understand why the Pelicans are trying to marginalize JV. He is more of an offensive player than a defensive stalwart, but his presence also eases the burden on Zion, who does not play with as much physicality as you would think. This might not be a true buy-low opportunity but given his average is still over 9 rpg this number looks alright.

Naji Marshall Over 1.5 Three Pointers Made (+170)

Marshall is making 38% from deep for the season. In this matchup with Milwaukee, they are going to need him to contribute in the scoring column, and at this price, I think the risk is worth it. He is not always listed at this level for this prop, but when he has been he has been 9-5 to the over and has bested it three times in the last 10 games. Again, slim pickings today so why not go for a big payoff.
