Recap: Raptors Overpowered By Magic Again
Jeremy Reper-USA TODAY Sports

The Toronto Raptors have dropped a season-high 7 straight games after falling to the Orlando Magic 111-96.

The Magic sweep the Raptors 3-0 in the season series.

Paolo Banchero scored 29 points and Franz Wagner had 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. His brother Moritz scored 14. The Magic are 8-2 in their last 10 games.

Meanwhile, the Raptors have gone the other way. With the loss, the Raptors have now dropped 8 of their last 9 games.

Jordan Nwora was impressive as he led the shorthanded Raptors with 18 points. He scored 12 during a great third-quarter burst. Gary Trent Jr. scored 15 points and Immanuel Quickley and Bruce Brown had 12 each.

Toronto did have 6 players finish in double-figures but it came in an underwhelming performance.

The Raptors, who lead the league in fast-break points after scoring 37 in a loss to the Magic on Friday night, were held to just 16 tonight. They also struggled from three as they went 8 for 31 from downtown. They also committed 18 turnovers.

The Raptors are now tied with the Memphis Grizzlies for the sixth record in the NBA.

Toronto has 14 games left on the season. Ten of them are against playoff teams.
