T.J. Warren Signs 10-Day Contract with Minnesota Timberwolves
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

After spending the first two-thirds of the 2023-2024 NBA season in free agency, eight-year veteran T.J. Warren has inked a 10-day contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With the Timberwolves currently leading the Western Conference standings, they are counting on Warren to bolster their shooting depth as they head into the final stretch of the season.

Warren fulfilled a similar role with the Suns during the last 16 games of the previous season. However, during the playoffs, he struggled, shooting 6 for 19 combined in both the Wild Card round and the Western Conference Semifinals.

Throughout his career, Warren has maintained averages of 14.6 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.

He gained significant recognition for his performance in the 2020 playoffs, earning the nickname “Bubble Warren” due to an extraordinary stretch he had with the Indiana Pacers. Over six games, Warren averaged 31 points, including a standout 53-point game where he buried nine three-pointers.

This remarkable run propelled the Pacers into the playoffs as a play-in team. Although they were eventually swept by the Heat in the first round, Warren’s contributions in the bubble will be remembered.

Stay tuned for further updates.
