The Golden State Warriors have been struggling lately and are apparently looking for some reinforcements.

Not only is Draymond Green set to return on March 14 from his back injury, but the Dubs are showing interest in veteran guard Tyreke Evans. Yes, that Tyreke Evans.

Evans was kicked out of the NBA in May 2019 for drug abuse. His ban ended up running for three years before he was reinstated on Feb. 14.

The Warriors worked out Evans in Miami last week, according to reporter Anthony Slater. Evans did enough to earn a workout with Golden State this week in San Francisco.

The Warriors figure to have competition from the Bucks for Evans’ services. The 32-year-old guard also has talked with Milwaukee.

The 2009-10 NBA Rookie of the Year last played in the 2018-19 season. He averaged 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in a bench role for the Indiana Pacers.

A few contenders are interested in potentially adding Evans. He wouldn’t come cheap for Golden State though.
