Arizona Cardinals Sign Former Eagles Tight End

The Arizona Cardinals sign an Eagles tight end

The Arizona Cardinals recently announced they were poaching Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon to be their next head coach. They waited until after the Super Bowl to make the hire. Gannon will be requesting the services of another former Eagle for the 2023 season.

According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Cardinals signed tight end Noah Togiai.

Togiai was an undrafted free agent signed by the Eagles in 2020 out of Oregon State. He spent time with the Indianapolis Colts in 2020 before returning to the Eagles for the 2021-22 seasons. He was on the practice squad for the NFC Championship team this year and was a little more than a field goal away from being a Super Bowl Champion.

Togiai has appeared in seven games in his NFL career. He has been targeted once and has no other offensive stats for his career. We’ll see if the Cardinals have bigger plans for Togiai next season. The Cardinals do not have an offensive coordinator to work with Togiai yet.
