Bengals OL Hakeem Adeniji to Miss Significant Time With Pectoral Injury

The Bengals are hoping for a much healthier 2021, unfortunately they'll likely start the season without one of their young offensive tackles. 

Hakeem Adeniji suffered a torn pectoral muscle during OTAs. He had surgery to repair the injury, but he's going to miss significant time.

"That's unfortunate because Hakeem is a guy that obviously did well for us last year as a rookie and has a bright future and still has a bright future, but that's just a setback that we'll have to endure right now. That'll be a several month issue. We'll see where it goes from there, but he had surgery last week and he won't be around for a while."}

Adeniji was expected to be a backup swing tackle this year. The Bengals selected him in the sixth-round (180th overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft. 

He appeared in 15 games and made five starts last season.
