Bills could snag another Packers' defensive back in free agency
Mark Hoffman/Milwaukee Journal Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Buffalo Bills made a huge trade last season, acquiring cornerback Rasul Douglas from the Green Bay Packers.

Douglas ended up being instrumental to the Bills turning the ship around in the second half of the season, intercepting four passes after going to Buffalo.

Now, it seems that the Bills may go back to the well in Green Bay to bring over another Packers' defensive back.

Douglas and his former teammate, Darnell Savage, had a fun interaction on X, which prompted many Bills fans to ponder the possibility of Savage following his friend to Buffalo.

Savage is set to be a free agent in March. And with Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer both potentially on their way out of Buffalo, the Bills will need to replace the holes they leave in the defense.

At just 26 years of age, Savage still has a ton of good football in front of him. He had a respectable year in Green Bay, grading as the 15th best safety in football according to PFF. He also had a pick-six in the wild card round against the Dallas Cowboys, all but sealing the deal for Green Bay to advance. If the Bills can figure out their money and put together a good deal to sign Savage, this move makes a lot of sense.
