Browns Bringing Back Punter Corey Bojorquez On Two-Year Deal
Mandatory Credit: Jessica Rapfogel-USA TODAY Sports

To this point the Browns offseason plans have centered around retaining many of the key contributors from last season's playoff team. That applies to the team's special teams units as well.

With under 10 hours remaining until the official start of the NFL league year, Cleveland agreed to terms on a two-year deal with punter Corey Bojorquez, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. The deal will be made official at 4 p.m. today.

Bojorquez, 27, has become a steady flipper of the field for Cleveland over the last two seasons. This past year, under new special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone, Bojorquez booted 31 punts inside the 20 – good for top five in the NFL. He also saw his net punting yards jump slightly to 42.2 from just over 40 in 2022. His touchback percentage dropped slightly as well to just 10.3-percent.
