The Cleveland Browns made a series of transactions on the practice squad on Tuesday afternoon. In a move that we wrote about yesterday the team officially announced the signing tight end Devin Asiasi to the practice squad.

In addition to Asiasi the Browns also signed running back Deon Jackson to the practice squad as well. To make room the team has released defensive tackle Trysten Hill and running back Hassan Hall from the practice squad.

Jackson (5-11, 216) was originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Duke in 2021 by the Indianapolis Colts. He started for them in week one of the season and was recently released a few days ago. He is someone that could compete for playing time soon out of the backfield. Jackson appeared in 27 games during his time with the Colts and rushed for 236 yards last season.

Asiasi (6-3, 257) was originally a third-round pick by the Patriots. He spent all of last season with the Bengals. In his career, he has 4 catches for 44 yards and a touchdown.

The release of Trysten Hill comes as a bit of a surprise as he seemed to be coveted depth for the defensive line. Tommy Togiai will now be the only defensive tackle on the team's  practice squad.
