Buffalo Bills Sign Former All-Pro Cornerback After Another Defensive Injury In Week 5
Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills have had a couple of season-ending injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Tre’Davious White and now Matt Milano are two key pieces of the defense that will now be out for extended periods of time. To help the defense, the Bills are signing former All-Pro cornerback Josh Norman.

Buffalo Bills Sign Josh Norman

Norman played for the Bills back in 2020 when they almost beat the Chiefs in the playoffs. Since then, he has bounced around to a couple of teams and hasn’t made much of an impact. His All-Pro season came in 2015 when he was with the Carolina Panthers but the season after he went to Washington. The Bills are hoping that he can recapture the magic from eight years ago and help a defense that will need to be on their A-game if they are going to stop the AFC’s best quarterbacks.

Can The Bills Make A Super Bowl Run?

They have looked good this season on offense. Last week’s loss in London doesn’t look good but the London game is always difficult to analyze. The time change and travel stress the players in a way that no other game does. The Jaguars had spent the whole week in London so they were more adjusted than the Bills. Still, the Bills will need to have more consistency if they are going to finally make it back to the Super Bowl. The good news is they have a big win against the Dolphins under their belt which will help them in the division as well. It is a long season but it looks like the Bills will be in it when the playoff push comes.

Will Josh Norman be able to help the Buffalo Bills? The 35-year-old hasn’t looked like his All-Pro self in years but maybe he can recapture the magic for one more run.
